Posting on behalf of the lovely @Reastie

This post is a work in progress and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

If you have any referral links then please post on this thread:

Mariah will be singing All I want for Christmas before we know it, and it's only 46 days until Christmas, so let's get those bargains, folks!

Edited to add, I’ve just seen a previous comment written just before mine explaining that no code is needed! Please Ignore my comment. As you were 😁.

FortnumsWeddingBreakfastTeaPlease

I just had a little test to see if it still works. The code is entered at checkout. It still works, but it is hit and miss which items it works for (some items only allowed me a smaller discount).

Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.

Edited

Oooh can I ask what codes you tinkered with?

GiddyDog · 12/11/2025 09:19

@tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz when you get to your basket go to the order summary at the bottom and there's a drop down that comes up 'redeem your points for a discount'. Click redeem and it should apply a code with however many points you have.

Thank you for this! Just grabbed this for £55 after the 10% new user discount - great price

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 12/11/2025 09:50

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 12/11/2025 09:52

I’m gutted the larger sale brushes have sold out as in after a nice brush for my CT under eye concealer but I’m a too tight to splash out full price 😀

@DressOrSkirtcan I ask, how did you redeem your points? I’ve had my >ahem 😀 < birthday points today and done all the SM likes so gone to spend my points but I can only see an option to pick a % off spend? Is that what you did?

When you go to the checkout scroll down past payment methods and beside Order Summary press "show", then it should say something like 800 points = €8 ...Apply? I can't remember exactly what it said but it was there and showed as a monetary value not a %

Meri Meri have quite a few christmas crackers half price including some with enamel sausage dog pin badges as prizes for £14. Delivery isn't cheap at £4.95 but they look a nice change...

@Beth262 thank you. Some gorgeous things on that site!

GRCP · 12/11/2025 11:46

Chocolate tubs seem to be on offer everywhere now for around £4 - Lidl have decorations in this week including outdoor lights. Half price litre of Baileys £11 in Sainsbury’s.

Beautifulsunflowers · 12/11/2025 08:54

Going real life shopping today! I need to focus and stop buying for myself! I already have enough skin care products for 2026 thanks to these threads!
If I see any bargains I’ll be sure to share.

@Beautifulsunflowers I too have enough skin care for the next year. Did it stop me from going onto the Boots website yesterday and ordering loads more via their £10 Tuesday deal though? No it did not!

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 12/11/2025 11:47

Where would be good to buy gold toned rings for tweens? that don't turn your fingers a funny colour? Adjustable would be good as she's still growing!

HouseWithASeaView · 12/11/2025 12:13

@Delahotyour mum might also like a belt hot water bottle. I got one from Dunelm last year and love it. It is a hot water bottle attached to a fleecey thick belt with Velcro which wraps around. I wear it with the hwb bit at the front. I noticed that one of the period pants brands (Wuka I think) do one which is, I think, bottle all of the way around (if that makes sense)

HollerWithTheRinsinSound · 12/11/2025 12:50

Morrisons have all flavours of Terry's chocolate oranges at £1.25.

@GirlWithTheYellowHat
look at Lovisa as they do waterproof gold tone rings that are adjustable. I’ve ordered some of the range for my DD for Christmas. Don’t post full price, they seem to have sporadic offers and I’m sure will do Black Friday. Right now they’re doing spend £35 get 2 free earrings.

Anyone have a yoto? Is it difficult to add songs too? My daughter likes listening to music on her tablet I thought maybe a yoto would get her off the tablet but I am awful at uploading songs etc

We have a yoto. The way I add songs is by converting YouTube videos to MP3s. Bit time consuming. Would an echo kids he better, I got the echo show kids on a good prime deal xx

@Arregaithel thank you for the heated gillet info, this is an inspired choice for my teen DD, who is always cold.

bottleofredbottleofwhite · 12/11/2025 13:58

Some great offers on the Margaret Dabbs website. Up to 70 % off a few of their products. My favourite is the anti aging hand serum but would never pay £150 even if it does work and makes such a difference. Now down to £45
