So she has 72 hours to wrangle together Perfect Kids and Perfect Husband to film her Perfect Christmas Eve . .............wonder what happens at the end ?

Spent 5 hours Xmas shopping IRL and have festive smelling oil in the burner so should really watch a CCF but DD and I rewatching Stranger Things series 3 and 4 ready for the season 5 drop end of November.

I made some PH Cinnamon Buns yesterday morning , they were delicious , word that springs to mind is 'pillow-ey'

Last week (Wed and Fri ) we went to the theatre and Fri morning to Costco so a quiet couple of days ( well except cleaning the bathroom )

The hall carpet is giving me the rage so I;m going to employ DS help to shampoo it going to dig out the George 3-in-1 (and lug the darned thing downstairs )

It's miserable here. Very wet. We allegedly have a dry window starting at 2, so we're optimistically washing the bedding to go out when the window opens! 🤞🤞

We have a basic but brilliant upright Vax for carpet cleaning. I very much love it!

I am taking down recommendations for
christmas viewing. I also several CCFs in my watchlist on the channel 5 app for when I need something on in the background while I work ( background noise is one of the only things I miss about office working).

Fluffy we also have a basic but effective Vax carpet cleaner thing. Bought when LO starting potty training but DH uses it regularly because his standards are way higher than mine!

We’re still away but travelling home in an hour or so. It’s raining here but we’re prepared with wellies, raincoats and umbrellas so have had a walk around the lake and to the local pub for a carvery dinner.

I remembered to buy foil trays today 🙌

My carpet shampooer decided to release the soapy water into the carpet but not suck it back up so I had to use the 3-in-1 George to dry it ( or rather DS did )

I could use it to do the whole shampoo and dry process but I do find the upright easier . DH will check to see if there's a blockage somewhere .

I am resisting looking at Black Friday deals until DH has checked the machine .

I've got a big heavy upright vax which is rubbish and always feels like an arse to get out but maybe I'll do the carpets before xmas. Although I think some are wool/wool mix so maybe not those.

I'm quite enjoying watching the sky get light each morning now.

just realised I have jumped from slowly but steadily prepping to ‘how much?’. This usually happens mid-Nov. I still need to go to Costco BUT WILL NOT BUY QUALITY STREET, plus write Christmas cards, buy presents (adult DC so I am waiting to see what they want).
on a different note, M&S seem to have reduced their Christmas home ware. There were very few Christmas candles on the website and none of the larger ones!

I'm still stitching my sodding cards. Must get faster! 🤣

Today I'm going to get the selection boxes. Plus I need to stick the Christmas cross stitches to the cards so I can get them ready to send

I still need a Starbucks giftcard, but the local one still hasn't got the festive wallet thingies

Went to Lidl today. They had this. Anyway it jumped into my basket and will be on the hall wall with light up presents around the base later in the year.

I got my baileys Knick off minis today and some nice crackers for the snack cupboard. Aldi had lots of nice bits in.

Can I ask, what meat juices you use?
I've always used the juices from the turkey, so can't get ahead. BUT I do have a large bag of frozen chicken wings, I suppose, I could boil those up, reduce and use the butchers Beef Dripping, that I've got...must look up Jamie gravy...
