Anyone with boys aged 12/13 do you think owl pellets would be appreciated as a gift or seem too young/weird? I've two (fairly 'geeky' for want of a better word) boys to buy for. I think it would be fun but DH thinks no and that I'm weird.

If they are nature loving, yes. If not sure, then maybe not. As a nature crazy 13 year old, I'd have loved one. As a geeky but not necessarily nature loving 13 year old, my teen definitely wouldn't.

I dithered, just gone on to order and they've sold out! 🤦‍♀️

I've just been real life shopping in Lidl as I was looking for some thermal base layers (managed to get a few).

They have quality street and celebration tubs reduced to £4.39

Loads of Christmas sweets - great for stocking fillers, I need to go back with a list this week when I have more time. Little boxes of elf themed haribo. Giant sweet pencil things (£2 a box), chocolates etc.

They also had a good selection of wooden toys, but I didnt look too closely as mine have pretty much outgrown it. There was a nice wooden world map board for £9.99 that I nearly bought - but refrained as it's still October and I'm already finished and over budget for the youngest!

@daisyboo1 I tried two different types from Nordic socks. The Arne wool and the charcoal ones. The Arne are my favourite but they’re all delightful- but not at all bargainous 😂 although they do offer you a cheaper set as soon as you check out to “add to your order” so I would have only bought one set if I’d known that!
