Did you buy a second stocking for potential second child so it would match?

I’ve just bought a stocking for my baby’s presents and I’m not wondering if I should have ordered the matching one in case we have another baby. I know that’s extra but I had a matching stocking with my siblings and really like it, and it’s not too difficult to store. Has anyone else done this?

I think this must have been a thing - a highlight of Christmas Eve was going to my dad's sock drawer to choose the perfect socks. We always had to give my mum the other sock, which I never understood until I had kids of my own!

You can probably just get the first kid a new stocking when the second comes along if it means that much to you. They probably won’t remember what their stocking looks like from one year to the next.

No. We have 3 different. Never been an issue.
