This post is a work in process and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of mn filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

If you have any referral links then please post on this thread https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212180-bargain-referrals-thread-7 and share around the joy/referral perks.

Can anyone recommend a good quality yoyo? Im thinking of ones we use to have in the late 90’s.

Sorry I skipped over all the magnetic tile talk but I keep seeing them everywhere and think my 2 1/2 year old will love them.
Any recommendations please that aren't too expensive?

We got this little 32 pack as a travel / out and about toy, my dd (3) absolutely loves them! Not the official brand or anything but we like them. Discounted atm too. 😊

I ordered some of the bargain Les Nereides jewellery from TK Maxx… very happy with the necklace itself and great bargain (thanks to pp) but it just came in a small
plastic bag which wasn’t what I was expecting! Will have to buy something now to make it giftable. So just wanted to check if anyone else had ordered and got the same (lack of) packaging?

That was me - my necklace came in the same packaging but I was expecting that. TBH Les Nereides often just comes in a small fabric drawstring bag or a printed fabric pouch. I have a load of mini stockings that I made to hang on the tree and was planning on putting it in one of those.

Donald Russell are offering 25% off for new newsletter subscriptions plus there are some good offers on top. I got my Christmas meat plus a 3 for £15 and a sausage and bacon box at an offer price. The 25%came off everything. I couldn't get the TRIM100 offer to combine at all, in case anyone fancies trying. I didn't find any cashback offers either.

I couldn't find the 25% off on their website - how do you get that?

It popped up when I went to the homepage. You sign for the newsletter and they email a code. If you have ordered from them before, perhaps you have cookies from them on your phone. You could try clearing your cache and going in again.

Idontgiveagriffindamn · 05/10/2025 13:59

There’s 20% off jellycat phone cases and other accessories at Fun Cases with code CAT20
Ive order a phone case before and it was decent quality and quick delivery

mummysandwich · 05/10/2025 14:08

Thanks for confirming not an error re Les Nereides / TK Maxx @Londonmummy66and @fishfingersandchipsagain
fabulous bargain so don’t really mind getting another little pouch or box for them ☺️

It was vesna aromatherapy! They are offering free delivery and when you sign up to their website it gives you 50 points which gives you £2.50 discount at checkout x

How do you get code to use up the 50 flames? This is what I see at checkout.

I found this tricky as well. I needed to scroll further down on that page under where it asked for name etc and there was box there to tick to apply your points

Thank you - now spotted the little 25% off tab on the right hand side of the home page - will be looking for my Christmas meat I think...

Two Owala freesips for £30 is brilliant. I bought two for £28 each on Amazon recently. Great bottles.

Passthecoffee · 05/10/2025 14:59

I need an Owala Water bottle as a birthday present for my 12yo, does anyone have a discount code for their website? Any I’ve found have reached their max useage. I did post on the promo thread this morning but no replies. Only asking here as the subject has came up. Thanks.

Jamie Oliver always does a lovely Christmas cooking show which is cosy viewing.
iPlayer might have last year’s Saturday Kitchen Christmas episodes.
Alternatively the Bake Off Christmas celebrity episodes are always fun (the Derry girls one is a favourite).

Jamie Oliver has done about 3 series,
’ is it cake’ Christmas edition is entertaining. Nigel slater has a good winter series which is very comforting

I did a quick whizz through but these threads are moving so fast, apologies if this has already been posted. The Spicery have 33% off and the kits have always been well received when I’ve gifted them in the past.

Smiggle have extra 40% off sale items and 30% off full price items if you spend over £70, and the discount work even if buying a mix of sale and full price to get it over the £70

Yes I’m at the page where you enter card details, delivery address. No option to apply points. Just pay now
