Other one seems to be filling up fast!

This post is a work in process and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of mn filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!
If you have any referral links then please post on this thread <a class="break-all" href="https://_[[//https//www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212180-bargain-referrals-thread-7" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212180-bargain-referrals-thread-7 and share around the joy/referral perks.

Came across this website on another thread - good ideas for science inclined DC/other halves. Not bargainous but a 10% discount for signing up. Found some stuff for DH - science socks/pencils etc that he'd use.https://www.presentindicative.com/

got the Lego DD and DH wanted so very pleased with that!

Thanks for this - got 2 main presents for DS and got the £30 off 👍

Aldi wooden toy event goes live 9th October some really lovely roleplay bits

Cuwins · 25/09/2025 19:44

My hotel chocolat arrived and I’m very happy. 3 boxes all dated Nov 2025, all look absolutely fine.
One was for me to eat now anyway, 1 for my dad whose birthday is next week and one for a mum of a baby likely to be born at beginning of Nov if not before. So thanks to the poster who spotted it

Newnamedillydally · 25/09/2025 20:08

Thanks for the uber eats details, I was lucky and had 25 off 15 spend. Was able to use it twice once at Iceland and once at Waitrose. Managed to pick up some treats that will last until Christmas, if I hide them!

Sideorderofchips · 25/09/2025 20:08

Very has some good deals on lego atm

Evening all!

Someone recommended a solid perfume which came in a really nice tin on the last thread, I have decided it would be great for my sister in law but now can't remember the name, can anyone help?

Also we apparently need a netball hoop and a basketball hoop for our garden so Father Christmas has been suggested....but when I looked on decathalon they seemed very expensive! Anyone know of a bargain?

Sports direct will be selling a netball post after the end of the month - think it was £35

Thank you so much for this. Perfect for my geeky son!

For anyone buying token presents for Christmas babies, these Peter Rabbit books work out at £3.71 each for a set of four books, if you’re buying two sets. Mine arrived today and they’re just adorable!

GRCP · 25/09/2025 20:40

Also Hamleys code NEW10 on orders over £40

Apocketfilledwithposies · 25/09/2025 20:43

Just tried to use the very code on some Lego and it wouldn't work. Don't suppose anyone is able to copy or screenshot the terms of the voucher code? That way I could try and figure out why it wasn't working.

Same for me. I think it is dependent on whether it has been offered on your account.

Jessiebessie · 25/09/2025 20:45

Many thanks to whoever posted the Uber Eats deal, it's just worked for me. What a helpful thread. I will be scouring the internet for deals to share on here!

BadgerFace · 25/09/2025 20:47

I just got a £9 steak, £9 chocolates and £6 of sweets for £7 delivered by u we eats so I’m happy! Looks like I’ve got a second one to use although DH just asked ‘why I was ordering a random selection of stuff’.

It’s not random, it’s stuff I like to eat!

£30 back when you spend £60 or more using code VERY30.
Excluded from the offer, Sale items, Apple products, discounted lines, Financial Services products and delivery/installation charges. The offer can only be redeemed at Very.co.uk.
How to claim your offer: Place an order by midnight on 28th February 2019 using code VERY30. We will charge the full order value of the order then credit the £30 benefit to your method of payment within 24 hours. The code can only be used once, and not at the same time as other offer codes. Please note that if you return items from the order the £30 credit will be reversed if the order value falls below £60.

Zippymonkey · 25/09/2025 20:51

@Apocketfilledwithposies
I found two current Very discount / promo codes you can try:

  • WELCOME — 20% off your first credit order
  • WCZL7 — £30 back (first credit order £60+)
Cuwins · 25/09/2025 20:54

Anyone had one of these are they nice teddies?

SkinnyOatFlatWhiteForMePlease · 25/09/2025 20:56

13goingon31 · 25/09/2025 17:28

Do they look legit? I heard there's some fakes on Amazon but if it's from the official LRP storefront should be real x

I feel confident they the ones I received are the real deal. I have been using them for around a decade so pleased with a bargain.

FortnumsWeddingBreakfastTeaPlease · 25/09/2025 20:57

It's rather specific, but would anyone know of something bargainous regarding Pikachu? For a 5yo boy.

Thank you

Thank you, I’ve just ordered for friends baby.

Cuwins · 25/09/2025 21:02

Looking on the hamleys sale as may get the teddy and they also have Pringles mini puzzles for under £2 that might be a good stocking filler and if your buying anyway then a pack of 6 button batteries for under £3.
edited to add a mentos puzzle similar to the Pringles ones for the same price
