Ocado Christmas Slots Released

Was browsing for this week’s shopping and noticed the Christmas slots were available, so not sure if they were released today or before. We have a Smart Pass so not sure if the slots are available generally yet or only to pass holders.

The free delivery for smart pass users is a voucher code in an email. I forgot to book my slot today until I saw this thread. All booked now for 23/12.

How does it work with m and s Xmas food ? Can I order the m and s collection

@SugarCookieMonster you book your slot then add your items like a normal shop. Need to spend £90 minimum. Code for free delivery ( charged at Christmas even with a Pass)

You can then edit nearer the time. Cut off for editing is different at Christmas so watch for that.

Waiting for the email to say slots are open for me (I've a Smart Pass). Just checked now and none available yet. I struggle to buy £90 worth but I guess I'll just get some extra long life goods.

I do and haven't been offered one-just been on now and still can't get one! Cheeky-was thinking of cancelling my smartpass anyway due to finances, so that's made up my mind.

I had the email last week to say the slots would be opening this week. I have a smart pass too. Still nothing available to book and I have my basket all ready to check out!

Thank you! Lots of the Christmas food is not available or out of stock. So is it best to add £90 worth of stuff then keep checking back to edit the order as things become available? I’m stressing that if I keep editing then things that were available won’t be 🫠

Editing doesn't affect anything already in your basket. It is just like a normal shop except you book it months in advance. I buy £90 worth so I can check out the basket, and go back and edit whenever I think of something. Some Christmas items may not show as available until a bit later on.

If I add items to my basket now and check out and then amend nearer the time will I lose items if they go out of stock? I can never work it out!

I got a slot yesterday and I don’t have a smart pass. Also I only order once a month or two so not regular shopper either.

I just got 'the email' to tell me it's tomorrow I can book a slot.

This really annoys me - Smart Pass customer for 18 years. No email or ability to book a Christmas slot! 😡

Which email says you don't have to pay the delivery charge at Christmas? I've been a Smartpass holder for years but have always paid a tenner for Christmas delivery!
Must say I delete most Ocado emails without reading them unless they say Christmas slot. Booked mine yesterday for 23rd.

@BotterMon Ocado email you saying you can book a Christmas slot and they include a voucher code in that email for free delivery on orders over £90.

I booked mine yesterday.

Had a look today and looks like 23/24 almost totally booked and the others filling up fast.

I had an email last week saying they were coming.
I do feel a sense of comfort once it's done-silly I know 😂

My voucher code is in the email saying that the slots go live tomorrow.

I’ve not had my email yet and I’ve had a smart pass for at least 8 years. This happened last year as well - the MN thread went up about it and it was patchy as to who had been invited to book a slot. Mine was a couple of days after the first ones went live, and I still got a 23rd dec delivery. Patience is obviously necessary!

I'm completely the opposite: I love the M and S products. Meat we get from the butcher.

I booked my slot yesterday after getting the email (and the free delivery voucher for smart pass holders is in the email - scroll to the bottom of the email). I’ve booked for 23rd in case of any disasters (ie essential items missing) so can always do a panicked Christmas Eve shop.

I’ve braved a Black Farmer turkey this year rather than M&S… is this wise? I like Black Farmer stuff and the price point was reasonable (I say reasonable… well, in comparison with some of the options).

Will be adding all the other festive bits to the order as and when they come available to add.

I’m a Smart Pass holder and haven’t received any emails with vouchers - just text messages about the Christmas slots. I’ve just booked a slot for 22nd and will have to argue the £10 with them at some point 🙄

Well that’s annoying. I still haven’t got an email and did a shop just yesterday and Christmas still wasn’t showing.

Checked just now after checking this thread and it is available and 23 and 24 December all gone. I doubt it is an area by area thing considering it had no sign last night that Christmas is available.

Something has gone wrong somewhere.

I got an email last night to say they were being released today. Just logged on and all I could get was the 22nd.

I’ve booked my slot this morning after having the email with the free delivery code yesterday.

But is anyone else having issues with the order? My order value is showing up
as over £200, when it should be £150ish.

I’ve worked out that although it has the little red sign that shows a product is on offer in the top left of items when they are in the basket, they are actually charging me full price for all items when I checkout - even things like Cravendale milk that are always on multi buy offer.

They usually still honour offers on Christmas deliveries don’t they? I’ve never noticed this issue before.

Ditto. Nothing at all on the day of the 23rd available. I agree with @SeptemberNCing something has gone wrong somewhere.
