I’d not heard of Amazon Haul and just looked it up, it says it’s Amazon’s version of Shein and Temu and Amazon have not responsibility for what third party sellers sell, so Which? Recommend not buying electrical products, cosmetics or toys from sites like this but doesn’t look like Amazon haul lists it yet. Anyone else having random amounts being charged following Amazon haul order? 4th time I’ve had like 54p taken on my card 🫣😭

I’ve been pleased with my Amazon Haul order I have had a couple of issues, but they have been swiftly resolved, they sent a wrong pin badge and one item I thought was a set of badges turned out to be lanyard attachments, I obviously didn’t read the description well enough. I went through to request a return and they’re refunding both with no need to return which is good customer service but I’m a little annoyed I haven’t got what I ordered (and what I thought I’d ordered, but that ones on me!). Dd was happy anyway with her capybara riding an alligator pin badge rather than the capybara drinking bubble tea which is what I’d ordered.

That sounds dodgy AF! I read this part in the Which? write up that says a small number of products may be mispriced, and they should contact you to ask if you still want the item first (presumably at a higher price). Sounds like they might just be charging your card more, and if there's the ability to do that, then some sellers could potentially exploit it.

I'm really not comfortable with using this personally.

For the people who asked about whether the Elizabeth Arden goodies from Amazon are genuine - I'm pretty certain that they are. I've received mine and checked the batch codes and they work out.

Can you clarify if Amazon are taking these payments , or another person/company? It’s unlikely to be Amazon genuinely doing price adjustments, if it says Amazon , you need to report it to them , they have a pretty good fraud investigation team .

If it’s anyone else then report to your bank , although be aware they don’t normally investigate pending items as these may never debit your account .

Amazon doesn’t pass your payment details onto third party sellers so Haul shouldn’t be any more or less secure than standard Amazon orders .

Also, the year he was 12 I was so sick of being asked for various coloured pens, pencils and glue sticks as he was on his way out the door to school, that I bought a multi pack of black biros, a multipack of coloured biros, and a pack of 6 glue sticks, and wrapped them for Christmas, with the instruction to not ask me again until the summer holidays!

Depends if you mean literally the same , then no , Temu is a completely separate company.

Amazon Haul is Amazons version of a competitor to the likes of Temu in that the items are similar, prices are low and delivery longer as coming from China . Quality like Temu depends on what items you buy. Amazon Haul having only recently started has far less products than the likes of Temu at present .

The reason it’s being discussed so much at the moment is that in the previous thread we were purchasing at 70/80% off with the offer they had running, which made things ridiculously cheap . In general without this offer prices are very much on a par with Temu .
