Had anyone any suggestions for a wooden dolls house for a soon to be 3 year old?

I’m not sure on your budget but I find the brand le toy van do lovely quality ones but they are pricey.
id shop around for a sale. But ours is 10 years old and still going strong.

Has anyone ordered from maqio.com for toys? Never really heard of them before but seems to be good deals and also sells bit that have been recently retired.

Yes quite a few times good prices and fast delivery for me

NeverGoingToMove · 01/08/2025 19:08

@MerylSqueak you can get up to 40% off certain products if you have or know someone who has blue light or defence discount. Happy to help via pm if you don't.

MerylSqueak · 01/08/2025 19:14

@AuntieDen @smootholive @NeverGoingToMove

Thank you for those tips. I can get a Blue Light card but haven't because the supermarkets they're linked with aren't near me but that might make it worth it. Thank you for the offer. I need to save up first!

That's a fantastic deal at Costco. Unfortunately, we don't have one near me and it's not online. Great spot though!

Free Brazilian Bum Bum cream (25ml) on the John Lewis treats today, might be a good stocking/advent filler if you can get one.

Thank you, I got 2 for stockings (took a friend).

We got my daughter one from Asda about 4 years ago. It's lasted really well.

Some good discounts on Plouise including these little Christmassy lip conditioners for £3.50

Thanks for this! I ordered a few bits and got 15% off with code WELCOME15

HopscotchBanana · 02/08/2025 11:57

Does anyone know if Cox and Cox referral codes are still a thing? If not, does anyone have a discount code please?

Whatthecluckingcluck · 02/08/2025 12:17

@MerylSqueaki got a really good deal at KitchenAid itself at Black Friday a couple of years ago.
although I have a blue light card, the actual deal was the same in terms of discount, but I got more accessories. (40% off I believe).
I got the stand mixer, 4 attachments, an extra bowl and a pouring cover and it was under £400.
also Lakeland have been known to put the accessories in the sale (I got the grating attachment for £40). Xx

Good to know. Thank you. Maybe I'll be brave and hold out.

I've just received my order from Chaos cards, if you search damaged, it comes up with a lot of items which have damaged packaging.

I purchased this Labrynth game and it is perfect we couldn't see any damaged to the box, its wrapped in cellophane.

I also bought Ansagrams for £9.50 it has a slight dent in the corner of the box and Stitch 3D puzzle £10 again a small dent on the corner.

Obviously some.might be worse, but I felt it was worth a punt.

Pretty sure it was 5 pound stuff.

Just had a look and that was definitely the website.
nothing that looks like actual oodies at the moment though.
I'm not sure I can bring myself to pay full price for one though.

Famousthehero · 02/08/2025 17:35

£10 for the Hug a lumps pug plush at the moment

sansou · 02/08/2025 21:02

Sale clothes shopping in RL. Bought H&M sale sequin dress for £6 instore! I keep a look out for partywear in the sales so absolutely non essential purchases but for £6, it would be rude not to!

Lots of Cath Kidston reductions in the next clearance: www.next.co.uk/clearance/search?w=*&af=brand:cathkidston%20#searchpos_1_1

particularly think this Miffy bag is cute reduced from £65 to £27 https://www.next.co.uk/style/su169760/n07991

also very sweet necklaces if you’ve got an ‘artist’ in your midst for £6 https://www.next.co.uk/style/su301418/b83092

Thanks for this, just got my Miffy obsessed pre teen a tote bag for £21. She will be over the moon. Didn’t even know such things existed let alone that they were on offer.

olivietolivie · 03/08/2025 08:50

Some RL shopping this week which is unusual for me and spotted quite a few squishmallows in TK Maxx ranging from £7 to £15

Robyn101 · 03/08/2025 12:05

I’ve been tasked with a birthday present
something playdough or miraculous
5YO girl - ideally between £10 - £20 any ideas?

Slightly over, but this is a good deal. Has previously done down to £15, but is full price elsewhere. (Dd loves miraculous)
