I forgot swede and washing up liquid.

I'm not venturing anywhere near another shop now though. I'm so done!

Christmas is ruined I tell you, ruined!

I forgot Diet Coke, and bloody Tesco didn’t have crackers, stuffing or Belgian buns in stock. Co-op came through on all of those plus duck fat.

Greek yoghurt for Naans on Christmas eve and a bottle of beer as part of a gift. Went back out to get them and got asked for ID for the beer (I'm 37 and haven't been asked in years!) so still don't have beer!!

I forgot peas

Parmesan.
It was for the roasted butternut squash but I'm not going back out now, it will be fine without !

Our Christmas lunch is ruined without mashed swede in butter and black pepper 😂

Tomatoes. DH has been out twice today already for forgotten stuff, so we'll just live without them till Friday.

Steak, and think I under estimated the number of potatoes we will need.

Redcurrant jelly (for the red cabbage, we all love it). Co Op didn't have so DH is bravely venturing into Tesco after work tomorrow. Then working on Christmas Day as well, poor man.

I went back for both this afternoon and I somehow managed to spend a further £25 on not a lot.

Sprouts. I asked the man where they were (quite further away in the car) and by the time I got there I had forgotten and was no longer looking at the vegetable section of The List.

Also no parsnips left 😳😢

Didn’t get Stollen or smoked salmon as both too expensive.

I bought pringles for the first time in years today. They are tiny and tasteless! Well if it stops me eating them that's fine I suppose

That must be convenient! But also expensive?!

Not forgotten but they didn't have: strawberries.

We almost forgot prawns for the prawn cocktail but DH remembered just as we were headed to the till.
