Substitute in a Christmas shop

If you have your Christmas food shop delivered, what's the worst substitute you've had? Have you ever been quids in with a sub?

Mine has to orange juice as a substitute for cheddar cheese, and one Brussel sprout instead of a cabbage.

Don't think I've ever had a really good one.

My ships coming today so I’ll see what delights I get. So far my favourite was a pack of apricots instead of apricot baby puree. How dare Asda decide when I wean baby onto solids 😂

One brussel sprout 🤣🤣

I had 14 last year! This year just the one but they did send chicken tikka instead of plain chicken for the dog, don't think I'll be risking that.

I got the following subs:

2 small bottles of coke instead of a 24 pack of cans

semi skimmed milk instead of full fat

Pink bath foam instead of blue.

The foam is fine. The coke we’ll have to replace as it’s for a party tomorrow. The milk my 1 year old isn’t pleased with 😅Had to nip to Aldi on way home. It was packed! No other choice as working right up until 1am Xmas morning after tonight.

Organic eggs for organic eggs

Semi skimmed milk for semi skimmed milk (again, both organic)

Who cares about what particular brand of organic eggs or milk they get

Not in a Christmas shop I once got banana milk instead of chocolate milk and it still cracks me up.

Not a Christmas shop but I once ordered custard tarts and they substituted with dairylea dunkers 🤣

Ordered 24 cans of sparkling raspberry drink.... got one mini can of appletiser.

I'm slightly panicking now as I've got a delivery booked for tomorrow and just went on to add a few extra bits but it says they have don't have :
carrots, cauliflower, sausages,
bacon, salad, potatoes, sprouts, bread, rolls, and a few other things that I can't remember now!!!
I'm hoping it's just that it's Sunday and they'll have a delivery in before my delivery is due... if not I've still got time to go to an actual shop,
but not quite what I'd planned!!
Aaaagh!
