Panic - no gifts for 3 year old DGD

Ahhh so in a list minute change of plans we are going to be seeing DS, DIL and DGD on Monday. Initially we weren't going to be seeing them at all until January but a change of plans means they are actually going to make the trip to see us on Monday.
Issue is we have no gifts at all for DGD right now. DGD is 3 years old.
We have spent around £100-£125 on the other grandchildren and would like to keep it even. Since we weren't going to see her until mid January I was planning to sort her gifts after Christmas to ease the Christmas pressure as we have 6 grandchildren and it's a lot to think about.

DGD loves ballet, it's her favourite thing in the world, all she talks about is going to ballet class, or she is twirling around in the living room. Toy wise she already has a lot of things.

What can we get DGD before Monday, really has to be next day delivery on Amazon or easily available somewhere like Waterstones/Smyths.

I was looking at the story orchestra books but DIL has already bought them.

Any and all ideas appreciated

Angelina Ballerina books?

MiddleAgedDread · 20/12/2024 15:01

Tickets to a ballet at the theatre if there’s anything coming up locally

Do you know of any that let kids as young as 3 in around London? DS and DIL wanted to take her this year but it's 5 and up only at the Royal Opera House.

B and m are doing 3 toys for £20 Possibly something ballet related

Could you pay for a few ballet classes

Wherestheoffswitch · 20/12/2024 15:15

My kids grandparents on my side have got them an annual pass to a local family farm that we love going to and on my husbands side a block of swimming lessons and both have got a wee thing each to open (Lego set and a book) despite us saying they have been more than generous. Is there something you could gift like a season pass or day out or ballet lessons?

One sale and doing free next day delivery.

These are amazing. My DD practically lived in her tutu when her lovely great aunt surprised her with one. There are enormously frilly and full!

Or a tonie box with this ballerina tonie to listen to?

As much as the sentiment of the days out etc. are great. They will be here at the same time as the other DCG and they all have toys/clothes/books to open and I don't want DGD to feel like she is missing out with nothing to really open.

Actually, a Yoto box has more longevity and a much wider range of stories.

I could send you my code to get a discount too 😊

Just messaged DIL and she's already booked this or it would have been a good shout!

We’ve bought our DGD a tonie Amazon next day delivery well it was last week

TENSsion · 20/12/2024 15:28

All three of my kids have yotos and they are easily the best thing we’ve ever bought them. Please check them out OP. Mine use them every day 😊

Another thing she already has, it's quite tough to buy gifts for DGD as DS and DIL tend to get her quite a bit themselves.

DD age 3 just got this (December baby) and is delighted: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Story-Orchestra-Swan-Lake/dp/0711241503

It has the story of Swan Lake and musical snippets.

There are some lovely options here and it looks like they’ll arrive in time with express delivery

You're amazing these look perfect. Love the little dolls and the theatre. Might look elsewhere for the jewellery box and get a smaller cheaper one.
