Daughter (adult) has requested a thick, fluffy dressing gown, not an oodie. I can't find a nice, patterned one - only boring plain ones, Next have nice scion ones, but they are quite thin. Any ideas?? Thank you

Partner has just ordered a lovely one for his DD from Chelsea Pears

BeatriceAndLottie · 27/11/2024 21:21

My DD is 20 and would definitely rather have a more plain one. Personally I’d call it classy and timeless - not boring!

allthegoodusernameshavegone · 27/11/2024 21:25

get a nice classy plain one from white company.

I know that they're a bit marmite as a brand but Popsy clothing are releasing a new range of dressing gowns and they look wonderful. Released today and they'll sell out fast www.popsyclothing.co.uk/search?q=Dressing+gown

Chelsea Peers is lovely but the quality definitely doesn’t match the price! I bought DD PJs from them and the design quite literally washed off🙈

M&S cotton. Classic, not boring!

Oh no! I've had a look for myself but I think I'll swerve. Thanks for the heads up. I'm quite happy with cheaper stuff tbh. I got a lovely one last winter from asda living. Cosy and comfortable

GiveMeAbitOfSugar · 27/11/2024 21:44

Sainsburys and Asda do nice ones imo

Seasalt Hushing Gown is beautifully snuggly and washes well. I got a red poppy one last winter and I live in it.

EachpeachpearplumIspytomthumb · 27/11/2024 21:48

My plain thick, soft dressing gown from Asda is one of my favourite things. Has she said she wants patterned? I wouldn’t choose a patterned one. Just one that’s lovely and thick and cosy.

SweetBobby · 27/11/2024 21:59

Ugg do amazing ones if your budget allows?

underseige05 · 27/11/2024 22:11

I bought aa great hooded one from Tu last year. It’s so fluffy and keeps me really warm. Just had a look and they have a few Borg type ones just now, but maybe not the style you are looking for.

mitogoshigg · 27/11/2024 22:47

Oodie make dressing gowns in a variety of patterns though I personally prefer plain ones

Thanks - hadn't thought of opsy. Bought her a couple of things from there previously. She wants patterned - has small children. Likes animal prints, unusual prints, etc.
Thanks to everyone for their suggestions.
