What's the aftershave of the moment for young teenage boy?

Buying gift for step nephew, don't know him that well, his mum says he would like aftershaves for Christmas. He quite streetwise, does boxing, plays football. Is there a current fragrance trend for boys (age 14-16)

I remember when was at that age all the cool boys wore Calvin klein Eternity or CK1... and if they let you spray it or your scarf it meant they liked you (and you could boast that you had cool kids aftershave on your scarf!) 😆😆😆

Millions Calvin klein paco robane

Invisimamma · 24/11/2024 22:17

Anything that's Paco Rabanne.

Jean Paul Gautier Elixir seems to be popular.

And Dior Sausage.

Invisimamma · 24/11/2024 22:22

That's my best typo yet 😂

MrDarlingtonsPie · 24/11/2024 22:23

Agree, it’s all Jean Paul Gaultier here! Have also heard Paco Rabanne (1Million / Invictus / Phantom) from other mums.

MorrisZapp · 24/11/2024 22:24

Think I'm going to get 14 year old DS some aftershave this year but I'm looking for fresh and sporty rather than musky and woody. Any cool suggestions?

TulipTuesday · 24/11/2024 22:25

Sausage 😂😂

FoxInABox · 24/11/2024 22:27

Just bought my DS Jean Paul Gautier Scandal, smells lovely and I got a good price from All Beauty on it in a gift set

Pumpkittenspice · 24/11/2024 22:30

@Invisimamma It’s customary for you to change your username now. DiorSausage 😂

TokyoSushi · 24/11/2024 22:32

Yes, anything Paco Rabanne, DS is having Invictus.

Pieceofpurplesky · 24/11/2024 23:08

Thank you @Invisimamma I was feeling really down and that typo has cheered me up!

fourelementary · 24/11/2024 23:17

Do people really spend £50-60 on fragrances for teenage boys???

bearfood · 24/11/2024 22:20

Sausage 😂

I always call it that when I see that stupid advert with Jonny Depp twatting around on the guitar with those wolves in tow.

pavillion1 · 24/11/2024 23:32

Elixir and aqua di gio and then a chanel bleu dupe

housethatbuiltme · 25/11/2024 11:46

I'm pretty sure its not a 'typo'... literally everyone I have ever known calls it Sausage, its a very obvious and common joke. Strange people are laughing like they never noticed.

Is it not better to find out what smell he likes? surely a scent is quite personal not just 'popular'.

CoffeeChocolateWine · 25/11/2024 12:26

I think Dior Sauvage and Pacino Rabanne Million are very popular at the moment. Personally, I dislike both of them and fortunately my DS agrees!

He has his 16th birthday coming up and he's getting Jean Paul Gautier Le Beau (this is lovely) and he's also getting Armani Stronger with You for Christmas.

CoffeeChocolateWine · 25/11/2024 12:27

*Paco Rabanne

When my DS was younger (13/14) I got him cheapo (but actually very nice) ones from Next and Zara. He experimented with a few to see which kind of scents he likes best. But now he knows the ones he really likes and they are high on his wish list so yes. This is the first year of getting 'proper' aftershave though.

MessyNDepressy · 25/11/2024 13:07

I’ve got DS Mont Blanc Explorer for his 13th birthday next month, it smells lovely.

banivani · 25/11/2024 13:14

This massive perfume trend among lads is funny isn’t it! Last year all the Swedish boys wanted Jean PG Le Beau anyway. My 17-y-o hasn’t informed me of what is in this Christmas I’m afraid.

DS likes CK One, don't know if it is popular at the moment or not.

I happily spend on decent fragrances for mine. Anything that encourages personal hygiene and stops the house reeking of Lynx can only be a benefit as far as I’m concerned. Grin

How has nobody shared this yet??
