Beautiful doll or soft toy for teen

Every year since she was born I've put a different doll or soft toy peeking out of the top of DD's stocking. She's now an older teen and II'm looking for something really lovely for this year- any suggestions? Needs to be small enough for a normal stocking (bigger than something you'd actually wear but not a sack). We've done lots of Jellycat things before so ideally not that. Have also done Maileg mice so not that again but that's more the vibe I'm hoping for.

We tend to spend more on stockings than some do (and less under the tree) so doesn't need to be super-cheap.

Thank you!

Mine was going to be a jellycat dragon so I can't meet your "not jellycat" preference but look how adorable they are

The small is out of stock on their website but I think they are beautiful.

jellycat amusesbles range seem popular for older children/teens

I just came on here really to say that I do this too. I have never met anyone else who does!

I also spend quite a bit on the stockings.

This year DD1 has a vintage (from EBay) Hollie Hobby doll to go in the top. Other years she has had a mini steiff bear, a handmade rag doll from Etsy, a knitted frog from Etsy, Jellycats and Hansa (they do wonderful lifelike animal soft toys) a vintage baby doll I found in a charity shop and a small Charlie Bear.

I would love to know what you decide on.

My girls have the Jellycat Holly, mince pies, candycanes etc.

They are very cute and they can keep them for ever.

Palm Pals by Aurora are very sweet, well made and more reasonably priced than Jellycat. They have a Christmas stocking and tree that are lovely!

If you're not a jellycat fan - they do mini Steiff bears that would fit in a stocking! I have a few of the smaller ones, you can get the more affordable ones that are soft or the ££ ones that are original. They're also such cute collectibles and I've had mine that my parents bought since I was a teen!

They also do other animals too if bears aren't the favourite in your house 😊

Something handmade? This is one of my favourite places on earth, they don't have online really but they will post things out for you www.treasuretrove-edinburgh.com/about/

Maybe a Maileg Pixie or two instead? They are lovely and come in many sizes.

Ooh yes, we have a dinosaur from there and he is so wonderful! What a great idea :)

We have the Jellycat dragon linked to above in a mustard colour and they are absolutely gorgeous. Have a look at the Sigikids beasts , we got Paradise Paul after they were recommended on here a couple of years back and they are a bit different

I second the Palm Pals. They have a large collection so lots to choose from, and very affordable.

Check out Olli Ella - dinky dinkum dolls
They do them in lots of different themes, they are very very sweet and I’ve brought them for a range of ages!

This might be taking "not super-cheap" to the extreme but I'd love to find one of these in my stocking: https://holly.co/storefront/jennifer-jackson-heirloom-dolls

What about a needle felted animal? There are some really adorable ones. Maybe even one with a Christmas theme?
