Mine is absolutely the Albert Finney musical version. I love the big musical numbers but Tiny Tim singing 'On a beautiful Winter's morning' makes me shiver every time.

Just watched it for the umpteenth Christmas Eve and never tire of it. Beautifully put together. Makes you laugh, makes you cry. A delight x

We've just finished watching it too! Little Robin as Tiny Tim! ❤
Merry Christmas everyone! x

Spirited on Apple TV with Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell is amazing.

To anyone who has seen it...

Good Afternoon!

HappyCamperTent · 24/12/2023 22:16

I have really enjoyed the new (last year) Spirited one… very upbeat and LaLa landy

marychristmas44 · 24/12/2023 22:17

Came here to say the muppets.

But I did once see the Ross kemp version on tv about 10 years ago but it never came up again so I started to think I'd dreamt it! I really liked it. Wasn't he some sort of drug lord?

DelilahBucket · 24/12/2023 22:22

The Muppets. Been watching it since I was a child and DS15 still loves it too!

FuckingHellAdele · 24/12/2023 22:28

The George C Scott one. Probably not the best, but for nostalgic reasons- in my teens I used to rent it every week in December from the local video shop!

PeanutsArentNuts · 24/12/2023 22:30

Reporting everyone who didn't answer Muppets!

Think he was loan shark who bullied people who’d borrowed from him x

Alistair Sim Is Ebenezer Scrooge. It is the definitive.

Ross Kemp is a good modern version.

Muppets with Albert Finney musical one as a Close second.

mondaytosunday · 24/12/2023 23:53

Muppets one!

MrsPJ · 25/12/2023 00:25

Can’t believe no one’s mentioned
A Flintstones Christmas Carol.

RudolphComingIntoLandOver · 25/12/2023 01:37

Just finished watching the Jim Carrey one two minutes ago. Absolutely loved it!

AmyandPhilipfan · 25/12/2023 01:55

Definitely the Ross Kemp one. I love its ending. I know it's not an ending faithful to the text but I love it anyway! I also love the way he relives the same day until he learns to truly do things for others not just to help himself.

Toddlerteaplease · 25/12/2023 01:55

Muppets. Best film ever!

TrinityTinselToes · 25/12/2023 16:49

Me too.

Scott plays him more as a real man than a caricature. And the 1984 production values are lush.

DRS1970 · 25/12/2023 18:17

I would have to say Scrooged as well.
