Where can I order nice wrapping paper?

I'm so sick of all the 'sludge brown' shades in all the shops. Save The Planet and all that is great, but they're so ugly! What happened to cute colourful patterns? Where have you got the paper for your kids' presents please? I need to order online rather than buying in store.

How about making your own? I’ve got some lovely plain coloured kraft wrapping paper, which I will decorate with ink stamps.

I got some from next - they have extra wide rolls too which I thought would be helpful for our toddler’s presents

Tk maxx. Really thick paper too!

It all depends what you mean by nice! I now only buy recycled/recyclable paper and you are right - it can be difficult to get nice paper. However the RSPB has some lovely Christmas paper - thick, good quality paper - and for birthday paper I order Glick paper from Amazon. Again thick and excellent quality, but also really beautiful designs and many of them are double-sided.

Zara! It doesn’t look that amazing on the website but it’s really nice quality in reality.

I love sludge wrapping paper.

I use tons of string and ribbons and always flourish it with some greenery or candy canes. I hate anything mixy matchy.

Brown paper is always great quality and cuts neatly and never tears.

Usually M&S as it doesn't rip as you wrap! This year I got mine from Hallmark and it's decent quality too.

I got some gorgeous paper in there , bright red with tigers on it and as you said, thick and excellent quality. Also got some packs of very pretty tissue paper which I like to use for little gifts as it so quick and easy.

TK Maxx but I miss paperchase so much. Picking out stunning proper paper was such a joy.

Himawarigirl · 15/12/2023 19:08

Rewrapped paper is beautiful, made from recycled paper and recyclable in turn. They have all sorts of styles.

luckbealadytonight · 15/12/2023 20:15

@booksandbrooks paperchase is now at Tesco!

Floralnomad · 15/12/2023 21:38

Costco do lovely paper .

prepastyrously · 16/12/2023 06:39

Homesense on an out of town retail park. Rolls big enough to wrap entire selection of gifts for DC with one roll.

Makkacakka · 16/12/2023 07:40

Another vote for TK Maxx!

I got my wrapping paper from asda it was 3 for 2 and surprisingly good quality. I got Bluey and Disney princesses for the kids and Santa ones for the adults.

watchingsmurfs · 19/12/2023 11:23

Waitrose - 3 for 2, nice and thick and lots of lovely prints.

BillyNotQuiteNoMates · 19/12/2023 11:38

Use tin foil. Shiny, two toned if you use the underside, no need for sellotape, easy to wrap irregular shapes, and 100% recyclable. Dress it up with a bow if you want to 😂
