I finished for ds ages ago and twitched last night and bought him a coverless duvet and pillowcases...….

A fucking coverless duvet and pillowcases 🤦‍♀️, every 19 year old mans dream gift! What on earth was I thinking.

I need to stop reading MN Christmas threads! But I can't because I still need to find my last gifts, they are for my 17-18 yo nieces to go with their cash gift and I need ideas!

I call it splurging. It used to happen to me years ago when I'd had a drink and was using eBay a lot. Certain things would turn up on my doorstep....

i thought the idea was to have categories of things so you didn’t buy rubbish, I didn’t realise it was one in each category

I've twitched so badly this year. Just looked at my delivery app and I've eight parcels en route still. Two arrived yesterday.
After doing my final wrapping a fortnight ago.
In my defence I'm having one of the crappest years of my life so I think I'm stupidly hyper focused on making Christmas amazing.
But I learnt years ago when DC were small not to give into the Twitch and I've spectacularly relapsed!

I would love to twitch but my dh makes sure I don’t. Probably best as I would have is broke in an hour

Everyone has bloody birthdays in November and December. Just managed to get through all of them, and now I'm like a rabbit in the headlights.

Posted too soon! Haven’t had the twitch yet as only just really started present shopping, but these two sound great!

I keep twitching by upgrading.

eg I bought DNiece some white port, wrapped it up, then I saw a much prettier bottle so I bought that for DN and I will keep the first one.
same with some socks for DD, and again I’m keeping the first ones I bought.

it’s like one for you, two for me at the moment.

The boot dryer is drysure. I paid about £14 on Black Friday deal. Obviously hasn’t been used yet but I’m pretty sure it’s not worth it, I think it’s basically one (or two I suppose) of those cheap plastic dehumidifiers shaped to fit in a boot. If I’m wrong I will update!

Not quite "the Twitch" but I went to our local fish/aquarium store at the weekend for holiday food and came out with 6 new tetra for our tank!
