Please recommend a perfume for DD (12)

She's young, I know, but wearing cheap body sprays I bought her on a whim and are a bit overpowering.

I'd like to get her her first proper perfume.

Because she's young, I'd like to get her something light and 'young' and feminine. Nothing too sickly or overpowering. She dances and is quite elegant in her movements (probably due to ballet).

Any recommendations?

Marc Jacobs - Daisy is a lovely scent and think it would be well suited for a young girl :)

Ariana Grande perfumes have been mentioned a lot on the Christmas bargains thread, specifically Cloud.

My 13 year old niece has instructed me to buy her Sol De Janeiro - the yellow one. It smells quite good as had a squirt.

Daisy is a great suggestion. DD also liked CKOne at the same age (and still does).

Apple by Zara is really light and fresh.

The orange bottle Clarins range is light and sweet, the blue bottle is very clean and fresh smelling.

I wear Daisy 😂

Sol de Janiero is very popular amongst teens, DD has got it for her 2 friends (15).

13yo DD just chose a bottle of CKone much to my amusement (it's what I wore at her age). It's still as nice imo.

CK one makes me think of the 90s for some reason. Maybe because all my friends were wearing it . L'eau D'issy another one I think if in the same way.

Got to be Arianna Grande I'd say, my DD is 16 and has been wearing her perfumes since she was 13.

Ariana Grande. That’s what my dd15 is getting.
Victorias secret also do lovely perfumes (apart from the sprays)
They have one called Bombshell and it’s gorgeous.

Look at the kilian brand, they're eua du parfum,
A little pricy but worth it for men and women.

I've got my daughter the Cloud one by Ariana G. She does also have body sprays by Victoria's Secret and so de janeiro which are nice and not too cloying.

This is really nice. I bought it for my teen at a similar age and it is a long lasting fragrance.

Just going to say this. My teen daughter snd my pre teen god daughter were harping on about it when we went on holiday and saying I should get some... 🙄🤣

Anais Anais and White Linen are both lovely and light. They both feel "young" if that makes sense.

I used to love DKNY Be Delicious perfume. It’s light and subtle, like sort of apple/cucumber scented.

Anna Sui perfumes are lovely and widely available.
There is a new Sundae one that's beautiful.
All the bottles are AMAZING.
There is also one called Fairy Dance that may suit your dad very well.
