Thanks @bizzey for the title Xmas Grin

Hope all are well.

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

I’m way behind with this but could someone remind me the best discount on Hot Diamonds please? I know MSE40 but does that one stack with any others? Thank you.

hby9628 · 07/12/2023 20:25

My 9yo has just given me her Xmas list 🫣
I'm sending some things back to accommodate her requests. Being organised doesn't always pay off! Why do I never learn.

Famousthehero · 07/12/2023 20:30

Sorry I forget who asked but just saw This squirrel feeder has a 50% voucher so brings it down to about £10

reviews suggest that the squirrels trash it, but them squirrels do trash everything

Someone was looking for a balloon dog ornament they have them on Temu

napsarelifewithtwo · 07/12/2023 21:07

Not needed these threads in a while as I'd done but I need another secret Santa. 50s, no bath, currently spending lots of time to and from hospital as her mum is very ill. Any good ideas???? I'd love a thoughtful gift but hard with only a £10 limit!

Audiobook?
I can recommend the dutch house - it's read my Tom Hanks, and I'm gutted he doesn't read more!

VegetablesFightingToReclaimTheAubergieneEmoji · 07/12/2023 21:25

@BoopK ive a similar couple to buy for.
previous years I’ve done personalised jigsaws (a picture of all of them on there).
cheese hampers, gaming night hampers. This year I was going with a dispatch Or Rick stein voucher, but it’s more expensive than I’d like to get something half decent.

Any decent coffee subscriptions with good discounts please?

Ideally 6 months with beans, but will take anything!

handmademitlove · 07/12/2023 21:35

@napsarelifewithtwo How about a decent travel mug?

Stacks with JEWELS for free delivery. Also stacks with a basket recovery code if they send you one (sometimes they send 20% code with a reminder of what’s in your basket), but they have only sent me reminders and no discount code.

There is a code BIRTHDAY that gives £15 off (no minimum spend) for a new account, but it doesn’t stack.

They also send an account-specific birthday code that goes stack.

Other current codes SUMMER25 and NEW30, so MSE40 is the best currently.

Report back if you find anything better! I am still waiting to check out a basket.

I think I remember someone had asked about a chocolate fountain?
Lidl had this one in the middle aisle with 50%off for £9.99

Thank you Ehunt1! I'll go and take a look tomorrow.... tho I'll be paying full price as we agm haven't had the 50% off in NI 😭 (still not a bad price tho)

Bryna · 07/12/2023 18:31

@buckeejit Thank you, i know it’ll cost, I was hoping to maybe add to it if I’d ordered from the range- making the postage worthwhile, but now it’s showing as out of stock for home delivery. I’d been checking in my local store hoping they’d come back into stock but no luck!

They also have them in Homebase if you have one nearby - not somewhere you might think to look and they do seem to sell quickly

I read somewhere on MN about an alternative to staples? Kind of like reusable clips that come with an attacher and can grip up to 40 pages is what I remember, but I've had no luck finding the product. Can anyone help, pleeeeeeeeeeze??

I think this was on the Well Designed Practical thread ? I remember seeing the sage thing mentioned and it can be bought on Amazon - will try and refind

I can recommend Pact Coffee, although we’ve had the ground coffee, not beans

Apologies - I was replying as reading through thread and hadn't gotten to the end so can see it has been answered successfully already 🙈

The womens gardening set from a couple of threads ago is back down to £5.99 now if anyone missed this first time around. Good for Secret Santa or difficult to buy for MILs etc

Floral trowel gloves and candle set

Room4onemore · 08/12/2023 05:07

How have I missed 4 threads lol. Need to order my a £300 Lego set, TopCashback has upto 12.5% cash back and it’s double points weekend so I should get about £30 back in points

NortieTortie · 08/12/2023 07:25

I thought I was done but a family just dropped off Xmas presents for ours 😩
Any gift ideas for 12 and 9 year old boys?

mybrainisbusybeingawesome · 08/12/2023 07:45

I'm on the hunt for a mini fridge for DS13 bedroom. Adding this on so would prefer not to spend £40-50. So far all I can see is beauty fridges or way over budget

I spent ages looking for one and they mostly had awful reviews. Bought this from Amazon in the coca cola version. £39.99 but sells for £60+ elsewhere. Can recommend as we bought ours for camping in summer so we've used it so far for 6 months and it's good.

doistayordoigo · 08/12/2023 07:53

We've bought this one, in black which is currently unavailable, but comes in white and Sprite. No idea whether it's any good but when you're looking at it there are other suggestions underneath.
