Thanks @bizzey for the title Xmas Grin

Hope all are well.

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Starlin Teapigs are excellent. An Ingenuitea strainer might be too much £££ - they are really cool - but there's this Amazon Deal of the day: https://amzn.eu/d/9RoTqjE

Hi, I got my free hand and nail cream from M&S today. I substituted it for the almond lip balm, (which was my freebie win with the advent calendar), as oldest DS is allergic.

I have only just discovered the delights of Lidl, (thanks to this thread). There were kids’ pjs in stock this pm in my locals as well as some toys. I got a Xmas hat and Xmas leggings for me, (they are in too big a size, but I figured it didn’t matter), Xmas boxers for DH, (which may be too small, but he can breathe in!)

I also got a set of three cute vegetable decorations, (dupes of the ones JL were doing last year), for £1.50, a crockpot for £7.50, a crossword book for £1 and four candles, also £1.

I returned an over the microwave shelf, which I bought in a fit of over-excitement. It’s not showing on my bank a/c yet. Does anyone know how long Lidl take to refund? Thanks.

I've got a last minute secret Santa for £15. Guy likes good strong black tea and biscuits. Any ideas anyone?

Lottie Shaws do lovely biscuits. I’ve used them a few times, always been well appreciated.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 06/12/2023 16:39

@Needtostartover I think it was Starling! Thank you so much!

CoffeeAndEnnui · 06/12/2023 16:58

Ocado is stocking the PlayStation pasta mentioned upthread by @SugarCookieMonster and has it on offer at the same £2 price point.

Has anyone been able to track or indeed received their Fossil order? I still haven't received a dispatch e-mail for my order placed on 25th November. I did get a dispatch e-mail on Monday for a second order I placed on Sunday and the RM tracking for that still says awaiting pick up. I have been fobbed off twice by customer services on the first order but obviously trying not to be too impatient with the second one as it's only a couple of days since it was supposedly dispatched.

Mine was dispatched straight away and arrived yesterday. It was one of the most expensive watches though and not personalised so may be fewer people fighting for the same stock with mine. I’ve used them in the past and had a lot cancelled from the order due to no stock days later.

Mummypete · 06/12/2023 18:02

I don’t suppose anyone has seen Whispering Angel on offer at any of the supermarkets? It’s just a stocking filler so the smaller bottle would also work.

buckeejit · 06/12/2023 18:04

BISCUITS!!!

Just to recommend the Sainsbury's taste the difference cookies - I like them more than any of the posh biscuits. Although I do love the massive M&S florentines

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 06/12/2023 18:06

@recklessgran my fossil dispatch emil lsaid it would be a few days before royal mail received it as it was shipped from an overseas warehouse so think it depends where the stock is of what you ordered

RepetitiveMotion · 06/12/2023 18:34

Just had an email from Sarah Raven that DHs socks won’t arrive until after Christmas. FFS. Ordered Black Friday

Gladysrocker · 06/12/2023 18:41

Ordered Fahlo bracelets on the 27/11 and had an email today (after I chased up) saying one or more of my items are out of stock and won’t be back in before xmas 🙄

Could I be cheeky and ask if anyone has an Argos code please? Looking to spend £50 or possibly more

Resistanceisfruitful · 06/12/2023 19:00

I have an Argos voucher for £6 off a £60 spend

Resistanceisfruitful · 06/12/2023 19:03

Argos code:

Runs out midnight on the 16th December

Blessedbethefruitz · 06/12/2023 19:14

A few book advent bargains. I bought peppa 3 Christmases ago and it's been hanging around since, but this year both kids are loving it! Wish I could get them into bluey...

Can I please be cheeky and ask if anyone has a StudentBeans discount for Govee (the RGB lighting people) if they could please PM me?

In return, my bargain heads-up is that Dobbies (garden centre) have 20% off everything for club card plus holders, from tomorrow until Tuesday. Lots of nice gifts, Christmas trees, decorations, home wear and books as well as the usual garden centre stuff.

My Typo bowl arrived today for youngest son, unfortunately there is a defect in the transfer image on the bowl, so I'll have to send back. Gah!

Code JOIN23HC for 10% off. Might stack if there are other codes around. Also 4% cashback with Quidco
