Anyone fancy a Sparks 12 Days of Christmas thread?

I'm waiting up till midnight to see what my first offering is. There are the usual suspects on the advertising image (percy pigs, looks like a hand cream, wine etc) There are some canny prizes up for grabs by the looks of things, but there are sure to be some duds as well!

Here we go. I'll show you mine, you show me yours!!

Got a light up lantern last year and just won a packet of Percy pigs now.

Nothing on mine yet. I tap on the 1 but nothing happens.

Is there any correlation between how much you typically spend at M&S and the value of your gift? We only buy bits and bobs so not too surprised to have only got the 20% off wrapping. My DMIL on the other hand always seems to get great offers!

I got this too. I suspect I won’t actually get it as I will only be near foodstores for the foreseeable but it’s the thought that counts!

20% of wrap, Ho hum. Looks like I'm going to get the duds - just like last year.
I haven't had many sparks freebies at all this year, just 2 or 3 bags of Percy Pigs, a 4 pack of pears and a loaf of bread.

Thanks for the reminder, I got a free bag of Percy pigs, actually chuffed with that. I think last year all I got was random discounts.

Yup, I got that too. I think on day 1 last year I got a bottle of gin or vodka liqueur, so perhaps that was my good year?

There wasn't last year. I'm sure I recall people who downloaded the app on the first of December seemed to get much better freebies like the gin or decoration and those who'd had it for ages who seemed to get discounts etc so no rhyme or reason.

I got 20% off gift wrap too. I won't be using it as their gift wrap is already 50% more expensive 😅. Although if I remember correctly last year one day was an entry into a prize draw so I'm expecting it to get worse..

I got a free loaf of bread today! I'll probably pick it up but not the vibe I was after!

Hand cream for me, which is nice- but last year I got a bottle of Prosecco on day 1! I got the mascara from JL too (what a blatant rip-off of 12 days of Sparks!) so perhaps everyone is offered the same? That’s far more egalitarian, but I don’t have high hopes for availability by the time I get to a JL store.
