M&S Sparks 12 Days of Christmas

Anyone fancy a Sparks 12 Days of Christmas thread?

I'm waiting up till midnight to see what my first offering is. There are the usual suspects on the advertising image (percy pigs, looks like a hand cream, wine etc) There are some canny prizes up for grabs by the looks of things, but there are sure to be some duds as well!

Here we go. I'll show you mine, you show me yours!!

Cheese!!

NeverDropYourMooncup · 11/12/2023 05:39

They must be trolling.

A discount on a tin.

Maternityleavelady · 11/12/2023 06:21

Been up since 4.50am (thanks DC!) and when I try to open today’s door it keeps telling me to come back tomorrow, I am too early! I would love to still be asleep, M&S, believe me - I can only assume this is a fault as it has been fine to open it at the crack of dawn on previous days?!

User136921 · 11/12/2023 06:29

10% off light up tin but I don't care because I already had hand cream and the EB poinsettia and am going to stock up on 20% off frozen, so all good anyway

AntiquePancakes · 11/12/2023 06:44

Mines been a total disappointment from day 1, the only freebie I had was a tub of cake bites. The rest has been 10/20% off stuff.
Tomorrow, day 12 better go out with a bang😆

OneFrenchEgg · 11/12/2023 06:50

I read the t&c last night. The draw is for lots of £5 vouchers and bottles of alcohol if you've opened every door which will be sent by email. Something like 40,000 alcohol gifts

RainbowZebraWarrior · 11/12/2023 06:52

10% off a truffle tin.

1 day left and I'm not hopeful.

I know the person who worked there said at the start of the thread that everyone would get something. Some getting decent, multiple freebies, though? I suppose I have to think of it like a raffle or whatever. Totally random, luck of the draw.

@AntiquePancakes i would have been delighted with the cake bites! The only freebie I have had is a 30ml bottle of perfume - but I only live near a Food Hall so the petrol to go and get the perfume would be higher than the value of the perfume! If you didn’t have to collect all the prizes by 12 Dec I might be going in a couple of weeks - but certainly not worth a special trip! 1 day left……

shellyleppard · 11/12/2023 06:58

I had the same thing today. Maybe its a plan to actually physically get people in store??? Then maybe people will be tempted to buy more things while they are there??? Hmmm i know its a 30 mile round trip for my nearest one so I would probably buy more stuff while I was there 🤷‍♀️

Pablosdog · 11/12/2023 07:00

The only freebie I’ve had is a hanging decoration (and the remaining choice was dire)

User136921 · 11/12/2023 07:03

I'm lucky that I live fairly near a medium sized store (walkable distance) but I have missed out on the JL ones as that is at least 25 miles away with no free parking

theresnoonequitelikegrandma · 11/12/2023 07:07

15% off non-alcoholic wine? Isn't that just grape juice?? 🤣🤣. Still very happy with the room spray I got early on and hoping to use at least a couple of the money-off offers when Christmas shopping today.

JustLurkingAway · 11/12/2023 07:07

15% off cheese...only one day left for the Percy'sEnvy

vjg13 · 11/12/2023 07:34

15% off non alcoholic sparkling wine for me.

EveWinter · 11/12/2023 07:39

10% off the truffle tin here too. Very underwhelming 😑.

APurpleSquirrel · 11/12/2023 07:41

Yep, 10% off a light up Truffle Tin - not likely to use that.
JL was 25% off Benefit gift sets which I won't be using either.

Thisisthedawningoftheageofaquarius · 11/12/2023 07:52

Free net of choc money today! (the only other free thing was a net of satsumas)

Ilianor · 11/12/2023 07:53

10% off a bottle of presse (not even sure what that is!)

ChessieFL · 11/12/2023 07:56

10% off pressé here too

WowIlikereallyhateyou · 11/12/2023 08:56

Free chilled dip! At least i will use it

Talisin · 11/12/2023 09:29

15% off cheese. I might actually use that!

RainbowZebraWarrior · 11/12/2023 10:06

25% off Benefit Christmas gift sets on JL. Sounds like a decent deal, but yet again, it ends today. Not possible to get there today. I think they are being really mean, and could at least allow a few days for these offers.

I'll be making a Part Two thread later today, as I think we will roll over or our 'Sparks Finale'

15% off cheese but all the cheese I fancied yesterday (while using the 20% off frozen thanks for your thoughts on that)! Was not Marks and Spencer cheese which is what this is for.

Houseplanter · 11/12/2023 10:20

Presse

I mean, how random.

I got that message when I went straight to the door & clicked on it (tab was still open from the previous day). You have to go back to the bit that says 'open today's door', & click on that first.
