Anyone fancy a Sparks 12 Days of Christmas thread?

I'm waiting up till midnight to see what my first offering is. There are the usual suspects on the advertising image (percy pigs, looks like a hand cream, wine etc) There are some canny prizes up for grabs by the looks of things, but there are sure to be some duds as well!

Here we go. I'll show you mine, you show me yours!!

If I remember correctly, a lot of people got the same thing on day 1 last year. It then went a bit random, with some getting free gin and others getting nowt basically.

I got a bottle of gin on the first day, the rest was rubbish but I was too busy enjoying the free gin to care 😂

My husband got a Percy pig tree decoration so he wasn’t as thrilled.

Looking forward to this years offerings!!

I got hand cream. Which they didn't stock at my branch. I've been in a few times lately and the lovely ladies there have said to me to seek them out and they will try and help with any sparks advent issues this year.

I usually get something weirdly specific like 15% off bottled carbonated drinks.

I am hoping for great things this year as I am currently on a winning streak. I won a tenner on a scratch card on Monday and on Wednesday I got a random tenner gift card through some weird transport thing I signed up to ages ago. So who knows what m&smas bonanza will bring??!

I had forgotten about the ghastly ‘15% off something weird that you can buy much cheaper elsewhere’ so-called ‘prizes’!

I got the Xmas stocking lights on Day One and the only other ‘day’ I bothered with was the £1 off one of the light up biscuit tins. My friend got the Percy decoration on Day One but it wasn’t in stock and they wouldn’t give her one of the other gifts.

It’s a nice idea, but I think I need to manage my expectations more this year in the vain hope of being pleasantly surprised 🤣
