Do you suffer with this affliction? I'm terrible for it and it's started earlier this year as I've been organised and I'm about done

I bought my first twitch present last night oops!

I’ve had the twitch already; I’ve been off work sick (with an injury to my leg meaning I can’t walk but can apparently shop successfully online!) and have finished shopping then twitched.

I twitched today and got DH a keyring from Etsy. Should be okay now though. 🤞

@PickleSmith yep. The urge to twitch is strong but I only need 3 stocking fillers and a gift card and then I am done BUT...

I vowed to buy less this year after my daughter diplomatically telling me not to buy her so much and after our mass clear out and vinted selling mission!

Oh yes. I’ve twitched twice for the dc I’ve finished buying for, and I still haven’t figured out what to buy for the other dc. There’s a very real possibility of running out of funds so I need to cop on. I don’t normally look so much, just shop from my list but I’ve been short of ideas this year and it’s dangerous to seek inspiration in actual shops

I twitched last night and got stuff for a stocking for DH. I shall twitch no more!

I have no idea what this is about but I bought a few stocking fillers today. They are the first items I have bought.

I'm a bugger for a good twitch.

I bought all DS presents last month and then this months (pay day today!) was for family presents.

I've been popping things in my etsy and amazon baskets all November and checked out this morning. Had a few minutes of feeling smug that I was all done and then decided "what can be the harm in a few more stocking fillers..."🤦‍♀️

I'm safe from the twitch because I have a DC who has a January birthday, so I swap my attention to that instead!

Presumably it means buying more presents after you've told yourself you wouldn't? Never heard of that term before. I'm not finished shopping yet so I guess I'm safe from the twitch for now?!

Well it's certainly too early for me, as I haven't started my Christmas shopping yet!

I went to Matalan the other day and saw LOADS of bits that my mum would like. It was almost impossible to walk away. I did, but there's always a chance I'll go back!

I have a lovely pinterest board, just haven’t bought any of it yet!

We finished shopping for DS 2 weeks ago and since then have bought- an art kit, a set of rubix cubes, a Pokemon set, fidget toys and a switch game.

We are utterly ridiculous. I’ve been known to go out on Christmas Eve and buy an extra ‘big present’.

I have 2 more planned presents to buy. Still awaiting a few on order. I feel like I have spent a bomb this year.... I still might twitch😬

So is twitching like a last min panic. Like buying more when you're actually done and have enough? I absolutely do this!

@JaniceJanice I’ve had a Christmas Eve twitch before now, notably the one year I ended up in pets at home buying a tropical fish tank as I needed a large gift for younger DS to even the piles out 🙈

We had some very bad news last week. This has led to several twitches to make Christmas nicer for the kids. Must stop now though.
