Not Christmas, but my good friend is turning 50, and I would like to get her something lovely. We've not seen each other for 4 years, so I'm not aware of things she currently has, so does anyone have any nice ideas? What were you gifted at 50 thay you loved?

Turtle Doves have sent me an email saying there’s 50% off some things with free postage. It’s a bit difficult to find out what, other than the things they highlighted, eg these yellow fingerless gloves and this cream headband. Other colours may cost more.

@1stTimeMama having just gone through the 50 thing myself, and based on what you've written, by far the best presents I received were the ones involving experiences. If you haven't seen your friend for so long, arrange something and spend some good time with her. I have had a lovely few months of weekends away, afternoon teas, spa treatments etc. It has been far better than any wrapped up gift!

@dizzygirl1 thanks so much! What’s the sizing like on them? DS is only 12 but big for his age as he’s tall too so he’s usually in a small or medium mens depending on the brand! They do look quite roomy when I’ve seen people wearing them IRL. 😊

@Ilovepugs2017 they are quite big. Ds is 14 but 5ft 7 and skinny. I bought a L/XL as men's small coats are getting a little too small, it is absolutely massive, I can wear it on top of my normal winter coat (useful for the rugby pitch sidelines 😉). I was also thinking I wanted to buy once and not every couple of years due to him growing.
Just double checked and the SAVE15 code works so it's £61 instead of £120 😀

Thread 12 already and it's the first time I've made it in here this year! Just a quick question, does anyone know if there's likely to be any further reductions on the Cricut cutting machines anywhere? I've been hanging on just in case but so far it all seems a but underwhelming unless I want to buy a bundle. Specifically looking at the Cricut Joy 3.
