Yoto Black Friday sale starts tomorrow. I assume will also stack with referral but worth checking obviously. They have said it stacks with Yoto club discount.

Oh these Heinz Beans safe cans are back down to £1.39, feel like a good stocking filler

Ooh thank you. Have looked at these before, but they were always £7. Bought four for stocking fillers. Such fun! 😁

SleeptightDaisy · 22/11/2023 20:18

Just got the Jim Kay illustrated Harry Potter order of the phoenix for £17 from Scholastic (I never think of here to buy books for some reason!) which is the cheapest I've seen it. Also got the box set of Five nights at Freddy's which was cheaper too which then gave free postage. As a plus one of the children's schools got some money to buy books.

Free magnets from Photobox...presume pay postage though

"Claim your free square magnets with code FREEMAG as our special gift to you"

Thank you for this! Just ordered for £3.49 postage. They are supposed to be gifts from DS for Granny but I might end up keeping them myself!

Out of interest, did anyone receive an invite to buy the Amazon 55” TV that was mentioned a few threads back?

Nothing here (yet?)

I'm looking for crafty things for 8 year old girl, any suggestions please? I've just bought the £1 princess colouring book from amazon thank you. Up to £20. Thanks all!

Try outline markers.
We have some from smiggle, but I've also seen some on amazon - I love them and so does my DD

I've never heard of these so will have a look thank you!

Is 8 too old for playdoh?!

Stripedfluffysocks · 22/11/2023 20:29

Can’t get that extra spacenk to work 🤷‍♀️
I’ve not yet bought the eyeshadow palette I got great advice about recently.
I think she’d like the Natasha Denota glam palette. It’s reduced to £48 on cult beauty - a great reduction but nearly £50 on eye shadow!!!
Does anyone else know if cult beauty will do an extra 10% or something on Black Friday itself? Or if this palette will sell out and I should just get it - is it worth it?? Maybe I’ll put on style and beauty too though I know I got great advice here before. I want something different, stylish and a bit of a wow factor

There’s an extra 20% off almost everything at Claire’s on top of 50% off for next few hours with code ty20. I also had £10 reward and free standard delivery from Claire club which took my basket from £63 before any discounts down to £15

Edited

Thanks so much for this! I managed to get two Sanrio plushies for dd for 50% off, then a sterling silver Hello Kitty necklace I almost paid £25 for the other day and a few scrunchies all for £30. I had £10 reward that I didn't know was there too Shock

TKRedLemonade · 22/11/2023 20:31

Have also gotten 9yr old DD outline markers for sticking on BF sale and a resin jewellery set after a suggestion here.

just finished building our Lego Winter village and trying to stop myself doing more Lego shopping now that I’m in the mood!!!

They'd still play with it at 8, but might seem like a young gift.

Modelling clay is a good alternative though, one that air drys.

Notlongnow1 · 22/11/2023 20:34

Been eyeing up The Live Family Quiz Show Board Game | Ages 8+ | For 2 to 24 Players (Outsmarted 2023 Edition) amzn.eu/d/0qjiE72 Outsmarted for a while and this is the first time I've seen it reduced. £22.59.

Good idea with the clay thank you!!! I'm trying to put together a gift box of crafty things to do so that will go perfectly!

Kicking myself as sainburys had a few sets reduced the other week but I didn't get anything!

imnottoofussed · 22/11/2023 20:46

The Amazon tv said the invite will be between 22nd-25th so there's time yet

KG1145 · 22/11/2023 20:47

Hi! Has anyone seen any deals on a remote control Lego train or any Christmas Lego sets

Thanks!

Blessedbethefruitz · 22/11/2023 20:52

Has anyone seen a cute non threatening (!) light up stuffy, the type a 4yo could cuddle in bed at night? I'm not averse to temu (seen a lot on there) but for this I need something UK made and safety rated for obvious reasons! Absolutely nothing that will talk/move like those little hedgehogs that are coming up in my searches😅Size unimportant, but not a dinosaur or monster (apparently almost as scary as the dark). Yes we have a grow clock and nightlight in the room already so it's not pitch black...

Turtleoo · 22/11/2023 20:53

@LemonFrosting The Works have 3 for £12 on loads of their toys and craft kits at the moment for Black Friday - might be some things in there that would work

Thank you to the person who posted the photo box magnets code. Just ordered a set that I can split and give people as gifts.

Montanna15 · 22/11/2023 21:00

Does anybody know if the 20percent of white company is also in-store or is it just online ?

I haven't had an invite but it cropped up in a general amazon black Friday email today. When I clicked on the link it said all invites for the deal had been claimed and wouldn't let me add to basket at the deal price.

dramalamma · 22/11/2023 21:03

I can't believe it - DH got a bit over enthusiastic with the returns and sent back all the bargain Xmas eve pjs by mistake!! 😂

I'm laughing now cos I checked and they still have most of them in stock and sparks have kindly given me a 15% off deal - not as good as the original 20% off but I want happy when I got the email saying I'd been refunded! I've told Him I'll forgive him if he does the repeat order then I'll hide them so he can't do it again!!

Thanks!

I don't think they make a specific christmas train anymore. There are second hand ones but they are £££.

DP found instructions to convert a regular lego train into a christmas one online that worked well. Even had a rotating christmas tree on it. He got the extra pieces he needed to make it from brick link but it was a bit of a challenge.

GlobetrottingPercy · 22/11/2023 21:06

I haven’t had an invite either, there was probably only a handful available in the first place. Fingers crossed for one of us.

@Montanna15 yes, it is in store too 😊
