Try Vinted. Kids love these in theory, but in reality they're often rarely worn. My daughter has been obsessed with them for years and I've refused to spend the £40 odd they cost. Got a pair on Vinted a few weeks ago for less than £10 delivered.

I work at a university and saw a student wearing one the other day... I wouldn't have noticed had it not been for this thread! (Have young DC so had never heard of the brand before!)

I think this would be perfect for that age range. Much better price now, I've just bagged one for my daughter.

@GettingOldWithoutStyle We have one that is in good condition but no longer played with, I can ask DS tomorrow if he's ready to part with it and if so put it on vinted for you. I just sold a load of Super Wings transformers, he's 7 and these were once so beloved but now just sitting around!
