Thanks @GoatsareGOAT for the title. Luckily, she was referring to the board game peeps!

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

@BeauticianNotMagician81 I got my kids heelys from house of fraser for £15 last year, they were the cheapest I could find.

@HamstersAreMyLife I hope there will be alot more deals to come as I haven't checked anything off my list so far. Not all businesses take part, so I'm looking elsewhere for other options incase they businesses I was looking at dont do any offers.

@WidowedMum I'd forgotten too then suddenly remembered at 11pm last night. Hopefully we'll get our orders soon. Thanks @Cubic ☺️.

I think I missed the 50% off the endoscopic camera 😑. The code appeared but the page refreshed and it disappeared. I've been pestering my DP while he's at work to sign up for his prime trial and share it with my account. Now I can't seem to get the offer.

buttondown · 19/11/2023 19:08

Has anybody got tips on getting the free delivery code to work on Debenhams? Used it a few days ago fine but can't get it to work tonight which is frustrating as dd has asked for a small make up set and it's the only option to buy from where postage won't cost more than the item.. on chrome it accepts the code but still charges (even if I bring the basket over fifteen pounds..) and on safari it just doesn't recognise the code. Not sure if I'm missing something obvious..

That's good to know. It would be for my mum and I usually buy for her birthday at Xmas time too but really could do with it being more like £20 lol

I bought my sons switch on Friday thinking it was black Friday. I'd waited weeks of umming and ahhing. Only just realised it's next week
This marketing drives me mad it's so relentless and confusing

Oh my god I thought black Friday was Friday just gone!!!!!! So it's this Friday coming up then?

Blessedbethefruitz · 19/11/2023 19:10

@BeauticianNotMagician81 I have asked for heelys (and sent links) for Christmas!! 2 wheelers as I'm used to figure skating mostly and some roller blading. They are definitely still a thing, deals here - https://skatesworld.co.uk/collections/girl-heelys - right now for black friday! I am 36 with 2 under 5...

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 19/11/2023 19:16

RE: games in our earlier discussion. Wanted to give this game a shout out. I've had it months and we haven't touched it no idea why! We really loved it today. As a family we play a game called POKI die (I think normal people call it poker dice) but this was like a mix between top trumps and that. Very quick for an Impatient 6 year old who can't read yet.

FYI loadsssss on Vinted for 2 quid. Would make a great stocking filler.

Edit just got myself one for a quid on Vinted for my nephew. Prefect

Has anyone found any good deals on those special art frames that store lots of artwork? Thought I'd get one for DD6 in an attempt to tackle the endless drawings that currently cover most of the surfaces in our house, but although this artwork frame has good reviews I don't really have the budget to spend £30 on top of her other presents... Anyone got any recommendations for cheaper options that are still decent quality?!

Any suggestions for robocar poli toys, specifically Roy? He's a transforming fire engine. On Amazon he's £22 which is eye watering for a 10cm dinky thing. He's my 3 year olds favourite thing ATM (had to be). ~£15 second hand on eBay and nothing in vinted 😐 Robo car

Annoyed with Claire’s! Waited over a week for the c club voucher, ordered for click and collect and they’ve cancelled it. Has anyone else had this happen and received the voucher back?

I really resent Claire's. Everything is grossly overpriced to allow for that bloody buy three, get three free nonsense, the quality is shite, delivery for online shopping is ridiculous. I always try to steer the kids away.

I agree. It pains me when DD wants to spend her birthday money there and wastes it on rubbish!
