I love the fact that the nn of the person who said this to me is @chocolateisavegetable - very apt!

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

Hi all, I got the Sloth ‘Oodie’ from True Face on eBay - £15.99. I added a hat to take it over £20 and got the lot for £16.34 with the 20% discount.

They came today and the Oodie is genuine - it’s lovely but whiffy- I am wondering if this is why they ended up on a resale site. I know the smell will come off after washing so am not worried at all.

Meanwhile, Oodie have indefinitely delayed my purchase of the Pokémon Oodie - I am very annoyed as it was supposed to be a birthday present for oldest DS. I wish now I had ordered two from EBay instead, (could have had two for £25.58🙃)

Debenhams really pee me off when they pretend these make up / cosmetic storage boxes were ever £92!!

They are also available on ebay for £16.99.

Has anyone seen a cuddle cushion similar to this one on amazon but under 30? I've looked everywhere and cant find one. I was sure last year they were all about half that price!

TheGirlWhoLived · 14/11/2023 12:11

Thanks @Regressionprogression i’ll pin my hopes on Black Friday

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 14/11/2023 12:12

@nickdrakeslovechild Have you tried Dunelm. I think theirs are about £25 if I remember right

Lellyo · 14/11/2023 12:12

Have you tried Dunelm? I got DS one last year from there and it been great

Christmasmcchristmasface · 14/11/2023 12:13

Honestly love all the chat on here but 2 years of oodie / fake oodie chat can it maybe have its own thread that all discussions can be referred over to there and maybe a wee note in the first posts to say pop over there and chat away

Yeahas · 14/11/2023 12:13

@nickdrakeslovechild Dunelm have got them from £25. Higher backed ones are £30.

ChristmasJumperz · 14/11/2023 12:19

I just accidentally stumbled on this info page about Claire's new rewards, which would help explain why some people had £10 and others £5 as reward. It also confirms the 'shop twice' for a reward is because one purchase is equal to 50 points. Just thought I'd post in case anyone else was as bewlidered as I was previously!! This page proper made me go 'Ohhhhhhh! I seeeee!' lol

Many thanks for the M & S apothecary gift set heads up, got 2!

Theraffarian · 14/11/2023 12:24

I hadn’t shopped at Claire’s for about a decade and still got £10 , so I have no clue still .

nickdrakeslovechild · 14/11/2023 12:25

Thank you, I looked in Dunelm on Monday, the one I need is the same price as amazon one.

ChristmasJumperz · 14/11/2023 12:25

I think the 'anytime reward' is their random here have a fiver/tenner!

Dee1224 · 14/11/2023 12:27

Btw: If anyone is buying in the BF Oodie sale - be aware that they have put some of their prices back up so if you are thinking of ordering from there - sooner rather than later would be better. (I promise not to mention the O word again.)

Re: Celtic &Co code: Rather bizarrely there is no minimum spend, so you can order something that meets the voucher code and only pay postage!

msssm · 14/11/2023 12:27

Amazonmulu · 14/11/2023 06:31

Can anyone recommend where to get barginous personalised note book (either with a name or just initials)?

I need a few and can't really justify spending £20+ on each one 🙈🙈

Home Bargains did initial ones last year. They were lovely and only a couple of pounds if I remember correctly.

redjoker · 14/11/2023 12:36

Log into Body shop for this one, Ive put my referral code on the thread

I was just about to comment to say that it appears they are back in stock again (but maybe not for long). It looks like you checked at the right time 🙂.

Eggmcmuffin · 14/11/2023 12:53

I've got a £20 off £20 Spend code at celtic and co. Pretty sure it's one time use so PM if you want it. Its pretty expensive but there are some gloves for 28 or baby botees for 22 so a few things for gifts, just nothing I need.

Dee1224 · 14/11/2023 12:57

Hi all, the Celtic & Co code I used: X1523 for £15 off seems to be generic. I just used it to get some sheepskin insoles and only had to pay the £4.95 p&p.

The £20 code: X2023E worked on a pair of socks, but wouldn’t work when I tried to do insoles and wool wash😟. I therefore stuck with the insoles only!

Thanks so much to whoever posted these - sorry I can’t remember who.

SmashingGemini · 14/11/2023 13:00

Celtic and Co products are really lovely, I can recommend. Expensive though.
