I love the fact that the nn of the person who said this to me is @chocolateisavegetable - very apt!

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

Has anyone ever bought reconditioned AirPods? Any recommendations for where to purchase from?
Eldest DC is asking for some. There is a really high likelihood that he would lose them and it seems to be more about having the branded item than the sound quality, so I am reluctant to spend big. Any tips?

Does anyone think the alexa smart kettle will cone down in price? £77 for a kettle seems a bit steep to me. TIA

Thank you for the apothecary heads up.

I've had the following this morning from SONOS

Hello,

I've been following this thread and find you have to keep track of most posts to follow the deals and comments.

Agree about the separate Oodie posts - although I can confirm Dunelm have a great range!

I have been keeping an eye on here for the following but not see any yet if anyone can help
Please?

Wireless headphones under £30 - not just based on price but actually recommended as comfortable and reasonable quality

Grip socks - I don't know too much about these but think they are around £10 per pair

Thanks 🤩

I agree that Anker Soundcore are fantastic. The P3i are the best but the price has gone below £30 I am sure...often on a voucher. So I wouldn't go for them right now. I have bought the 2i and the 3i for my DS and he can tell the difference in quality. I have airpods and the 3is and actually prefer the fit and sound quality of my Ankers!

buckeejit · 15/11/2023 09:16

@EdenGlen thanks my dd10 needs to get back onto reading so hope this will help.

I was at a local hotel last night & loved these wireless table lamps but £69 each! Has anyone similar that they'd rec? There are some similar cheaper ones Amazon so I'm hoping they'll go down a bit in price or there'll be an Amazon voucher-I'll buy them 'for DHL's present'! 😂

Can anyone recommend a pool cue for a 15 year old? Think he'd like his own

Ds wanted a pro ps5 controller but they're over £200 so think that's a no go.

Recommendations if anyone needs smaller games for stocking fillers - tinderblox & that's not a hat (better with 5+ players imo). Both great fun & easy to take away on hols

buckeejit · 15/11/2023 09:25

Gah - here's the pic

For decent headphones, I've found these August brand reconditioned from eBay to be great- bought several

RainbowZebraWarrior · 15/11/2023 09:29

@stillholly Soundcore recommended here too. You did say headphones and not earphones though - which others have recommended - so I'd recommend the Q30 or Q20 (Q20 will probably go to £29.99 at Black Friday and are well worth it) Q30 aren't likely to drop below £50ish, but there's very little difference quality wise. Me and DD have both. Can recommend the Navy colour too as they stay cleaner looking
ETA - very comfy (me and DD both Autistic with sensory issues, so comfort was major factor)

Boots have stocked the Christmas Showstopper beauty box - £80. Over £320 worth of products. I imagine it will sell out quickly

The showstopper box that @whatisdrowsybutawake mentioned looks to have 20% off with the code Beauty20. At least that's what the flyer at the top of the page implies, I've not checked it myself because I need to stop buying! There are some great star gifts there that have only just been added, Mugler perfume etc, so well worth a look. There's also the code App10 if you've got an advantage card for 10% off. Typing all that I've sold it to myself so going to give into my twitch!

SootspriteSearcher · 15/11/2023 10:05

These might make a good gift for primary school age. My dd loved making these from age 6ish and still occasionally makes them at 11! I used to make them at school too! Fortune tellers book for £5.88. fortune tellers

DeathStarCanteenGal · 15/11/2023 10:06

@queenoftheglee I got reconditioned airpods from reboxed for DD a couple of years ago, so she would have been 10
price was OK, service was good, and airpods are still going strong - somewhat amazingly she hasn't lost them (at least not permanently) yet

XmasShoppingsister · 15/11/2023 10:11

Tiredmummyof3 · 15/11/2023 10:28

Thank you for the deals! Does anyone have a code for hot diamonds? I'm sure last year a birthday code stacked with it? Friend5 isn't working unfortunately.

WidowedMum · 15/11/2023 10:31

Quidco have an extra £10 cashback when you spend £25 on fragrance (perfume shop etc) first people to opt in so go now if you want it!

Theraffarian · 15/11/2023 10:32

I wasn’t unhappy with my free Birchbox , at £17 it didn’t persuade me to rejoin them , especially after their website debacle. I wonder if we all got the same items , I’m going to split some of mine as extra gifts to people with make up etc I’d already got them , the mascara , primer and polaar hand cream especially. But I’m keeping the hair serum and triple pack face mask for myself . The eyelash curlers will head to the charity box though.

XmasShoppingsister · 15/11/2023 10:34

The Bodyshop - for those struggling to find the sign up page, (I agree the site is shocking to use), I'll link it Here
Once signed up the gift should reduce £10. You will also receive a £5 credit for your birthday and the chance to buy other discounted deals.

There's a 15% discount for new members first order with code LYBC15, but sadly it doesn't work with gifts or advent calendars.

I have tried to link the Lemon hand sanitiser which is £1 and buy 1 get 1 free, but it just sends you to the sign up page. You also can't search for it, which is bizarre. Once you are a member it is in one of the deals and if you click on that item it will then let you buy it.
