Tesco slots

Anyone else getting up at stupid o'clock tomorrow to nab their slot? Hate this bloody process every year, wish they’d come up with a better way to do it!

Sadly Tesco are the only reliable option here so I’m tied in 🙄 last year a thread on here kept me going through the early hours so I’m hoping some of you are around again tomorrow!

They’ve certainly set it up differently to previous years, maybe they’ve found a solution to the previous chaos? Or is that my lack of sleep talking?

My blue bar is very short and hasn't moved...I've been shopping since 0530 and hit the queue paused screen at0540. Is that the same for anyone else? Don't want to refresh in case I lose my position

My hate for Tesco grows greater every time they do this. And the number of Aldi Click & Collects increases. This will be a small Tesco shop, and the rest will come from Aldi for much lower prices, with better quality too!

How long is everyones blue bar? I thought it was a progress bar but it's not changing. Mine reaches nearly to the end of 'last'

Paused here too. I normally get my slot then copy last weeks order in. Can I just stick some milk or something in and check out to be quick or does it have to be a certain value? Not new to this but never thought of how much quicker that would be!

This crazy getting a slot thing certainly doesn’t get us into the Christmas spirit does it.

Same, I got the screen at 5:41.

I am going to optimistically assume that that means I will be very close to the front of the queue.

I am not going to dare to do anything to that screen.

It says to just add an item and then check out to you reserve your slot to free up space for others.

Doesn't have to be a certain value no - one carrot will do it! I usually stick a bottle of milk in.

I like thinking of you all sat in your kitchens with mugs of tea/coffee just like me, feeling a bit tetchy that its our job to do this.

I work from home so have decided to start work early whilst I wait, may as well be able to finish a bit earlier today if I have to be up anyway!

Gosh I'm hungry...don't want to get out of my cosy duvet cocoon though. Note to self for next year - put snacks by the bed the night before.

And I accidentally just ate a pain au chocolat.
