Thread title inspired by the 'it's time' Christmas trend as it's now time for Christmas now halloween is over!

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

Thanks for the Elmis deal. Which package did you go for? I haven’t tried the extras before (just the marine cream, cleanser and toner) so don’t have a clue what they smell like!

A word of warning to anyone thinking of buying from White Fox, they do not offer refunds at all, regardless of the reason, so you can only get a store credit.

I placed an order this morning and added the EARLY40 discount code, however I've been charged the full price of £100 rather than the £40 odd quid it should have charged me, I contacted them straight away as soon as I saw the confirmation email and although they responded quickly they said they cannot apply the discount and will only offer me a store credit, I asked to cancel the order and I would place a new one however I have had no response to this.

If the items don't fit(they come up huge) or are unsuitable or you simply change your mind you cannot get a refund.

Just something to bear in mind before placing an order.

I was under the impression that distance selling regulations mean that if you don't see the item before purchasing you are entitled to a full refund should it be unsuitable, although as WF are located in Australia I'm not sure if this still stands - I did think I was buying from a UK site.

I am looking for a cheap mood ring for an 8 yr old. I have tried ebay, etsy etc but I can't find any cheap ones that are the right size (I reckon I would need a US 4, UK G, which is smaller than 15mm). Any ideas/recommendations?

And still after a photo printer that will print from a Google Pixel - any recommendations for that?

Teen DS - I'd like to get him some over ear headphones but he has quite a small head (and I want to avoid the bone conduction ones and noise cancelling feature).

Any recommendations or suggestions of what features to look for? It would be a bonus to have a built-in mic so it could also be used for gaming.

Also wondering about a power bank, but don't know where to start. It would be used with an android phone and a Switch. I'd welcome pointers for what to look for or any bargains...

I just spotted that Hamleys seem to have a big sale on at the moment...

I returned my order 3 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for my credit to order a replacement. It's ridiculous and impossible to get a response from them too 🙄

If you have a Flying Tiger nearby they sell mood rings, about £2-4, and one is the type that you can 'squeeze' to make smaller.

Just ordered these socks in various colours from Dunnes. They are 10% cashmere and 40% wool but look pretty good for only €5!

Hi all - does the MCFC online shop ever do Black Friday or Christmas offers/discounts?
So I'd like to buy current/new products, but hopefully get them cheaper.

Holdyournoseandthinkofchocolate · 06/11/2023 14:37

@evtheria and @animalcrossingfan2021 Thank you! Wouldn't have thought to try those. There is a Flying Tiger right near work so I will look tomorrow :)

beetr00 · 06/11/2023 14:39

re White Fox, guy is based in Italy, may be why there are issues? He's a dropshipper.

I got excited about the Sports Direct discount as I’ve got goalie gloves and football boots to buy but unfortunately it only works on clearance items.

@PinkCyclamen - lots of adult Pokémon fans in my house! You could try Forbidden Planet, Japan Craft or the Japan Centre.

https://japancraft.co.uk/

I would suggest trying to find out if the person is into the cards and/or other merchandise such as t-shirts and plushies before buying anything. Card collectors can be quite ‘fussy’😹
