Thread title inspired by the 'it's time' Christmas trend as it's now time for Christmas now halloween is over!

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

I really shouldn't have come on to check out this thread tonight !!

I now have a silk bonnet in a basket and some stuff from NOTINO 🤣🤣!

@CanIPutTheTreeUpYet re the bonnets.

Is an adjustable elastic around it ?

I really need one that I won't be able to feel on my temples .

Givealittlebit · 05/11/2023 23:00

@Blessedbethefruitz does it need to be new? There's some on fb marketplace. Unfortunately not near me as they are chesterfield and crowthorne, but you could see if they'd be willing to post?

More expensive one in Bolton, plus a few others came up?

Can anyone recommend a bargain on a heated blanket for my DH working from home? His poor circulation gets to him and he spends his days boiling kettles for hot water bottles and dressing like Joey from friends when he wears all the clothes.

I purchased two from here about 3 years ago (they were £24.99 then but now £31.99 ) & bought my parents some as gifts last year, and they are still going strong, they are washable too! here

CanIPutTheTreeUpYet · 05/11/2023 23:24

@Jedstre glad to have helped!
@bizzey yes, it's elastic with a toggle so you can choose how firm you want it. I've just put mine on for research purposes... I felt a little pressure behind my ears for a few seconds, can gently feel where the toggle is. Can't feel anything at all on my temples. I have the toggle sitting centre on my forehead/hairline area as I'm a side sleeper. By the time I've wrote this, I can barely notice it on anymore ☺️

Oh I’m sorry. Try COM20. Don’t forget to get TopCashback and Quidco for cash back too

Notasockbandit · 06/11/2023 00:43

Oh thank you but sadly they aren't the ones. So very kind of you to have been thinking of the dummies

wibdib · 06/11/2023 01:33

@PathOfLeastResitance Try sleepseeker.co.uk - they currently have 20% off all their heated blankets, throws and under blankets - including 20% off slumberdown electric throws and blankets.

I’ve also seen adverts for heated cushions - company name Stoov I think. I know nothing about them other than I’d been looking at heated blankets so Facebook decided to show me their adverts and I thought they might be an interesting addition to the heated throws etc. maybe someone on here has used and could recommend or day to avoid? They weren’t cheap though!

the other thing that’s a bit off the wall - I follow a brand of bags that’s made locally to me called Mia Tui. One of their products is a neat cross body bag - I didn’t look too closely as I don’t like wearing cross body bags. However someone had discovered that it was a good size to put a hot water bottle in and keep it close on you, which they found good for keeping warm when they were out and about. So maybe the components for a reusable heath robinson contraption/solution might work!

Dolphintrainer · 06/11/2023 05:12

@ConsuelaHammock happypuzzlecompany code COM20 only seems to add a specific game to the basket and discount that, rather than the item I want to buy

IggyAce · 06/11/2023 05:57

@Yajebbend try scoville (sp) they sell them in Asda and are usually a decent price.

White Fox Black Friday early access code: EARLY40

Not sure if it works on full price items, but if you're interested might be worth trying!

IggyAce · 06/11/2023 06:07

Anyone know how accurate the stock checker is for Boots?

Has anyone seen a baby moana doll please? Larger ones with soft hair, not plastic. I can't find any with passable hair on ebay, been looking for months! Short hair and obviously a baby, doesn't seem to be available new in the UK atm :(

Here you go! But not cheap sorry!

Blessedbethefruitz · 06/11/2023 07:25

@bizzey Thanks I'd not thought of that!! Not me for the look fantastic code haha!

Someaddedsugar · 06/11/2023 07:31

Not a bargain but Martin Lewis has said today is the last day to get a free £125 bonus from HSBC for one of their global accounts. I'm sure the payment is within a month of opening the account but might be helpful for Christmas spending?

SevenKingsMustDie · 06/11/2023 07:32

Can anyone recommend a budget friendly air tag type thing? Just to stash in luggage but works with iPhone?

I bought one in Poundland last year for £4 which worked well. They were with the phone cables etc and I'm sure I've seen them there recently too.

Dolphintrainer · 06/11/2023 07:57
