@Yajebbend The best wok I ever got (going strong 10+ years) was from a Chinese supermarket - just a bog standard one sitting in a stack of identical woks, but it has a beautiful wooden handle and is the kind that you need to season rather than scrubbing it clean each time. Now it makes excellent stir fries, and I'm careful to keep it seasoned. Don't remember how much it was but it can't have been expensive as I was just a poor student 😁

Has anyone used Scholastic for books before? DS has asked for the Hunger Games books and I'd like to get all 4 in a box set and that seems to be the best price I can find!

Try Scoville brand for woks and frying pans. Absolutely brilliant to clean and usually on offer at Asda or Argos.

@PathOfLeastResitance lakeland have heated ponchos, would that be easier to work in? Not sure how big it is though. They have a sale on and throws and blankets too.

I've got a small Beurer heat pad which is good, I put it on my back or sit on it but sounds like your DH needs something bigger.

DH has a surger thing for Guinness. It attaches to the top of a can and makes it more like a draught one.
