I actually love All I want for Christmas - it is super cheesy, but that is what I want from a Christmas pop song. I like Slade for the same reason. Last Christmas is also great.

Absolutely hate Fairytale of New York. A miserable song about a pair of drunks arguing, how Christmassy. Do They Know It’s Christmas is also on my shitlist, again the sight of a group of millionaire pop stars patronising the whole continent of Africa doesn’t fill me with festive spirit.

I’ve always loved ‘I wish it could be Christmas everyday’ by Wizzard but some more recent favourites are ‘Underneath the Tree’ and ‘Wrapped in Red’ by Kelly Clarkson. Also get goosebumps when I hear ‘O Holy Night’ and ‘O Come All Ye Faithful’.
