Slice and surprise kinetic sand is down from £9.99 to £5.99 on Amazon for those who can bear the mess!

Can anyone recommend a candy floss maker? There are a few on Amazon but the reviews are very mixed.

thank you

My local Home Bargains had loads of great stuff today. Picked up some of the games mentioned above and MTV trivia for £1.99, Little Brian paint sticks(7 pack I think) for £1.49 and this Melissa and Doug playmat with cars for £12.99.

Can anyone recommend a Polaroid type printer for an 8 year old? She wants a camera that prints. Ideally one where refills are not too expensive and easy to get!!

Cheeky ask - would someone with Prime be willing to check if there's a price reduction on Lego Dreamzzz Nightmare Shark Ship or Mr Oz's Space bus for me?

Yes. Nightmare shark ship down to £88.56.
Mr oz now £60.79 @Athlebad

Lidl experts, is this likely to be available on 26 October, or is this a previous year toy?

I would think that means it'll be in store this year, plus that date is a Thursday which is when they change over their middle of Lidl stuff.

Yoto player plus starter pack down to £87.99 on Amazon. Think it's a good deal..

The yoto mini plus starter pack is £55.99 as well which I was happy with :)

3 wise words £1.99

Obama Llama £2.99
Nice buns £3.99

Melissa and doug magic set £26.62!

Thank you so so much for this! I had it in my basket hoping and refreshed for prime day but it still showed at nearly £40 when I checked. I had to delete and add again to get at this price

herd mentality game looks good for teen nephews (i hope!)

dizzygirl1 · 10/10/2023 21:00

I've gone for the lego star wars advent calendar, its not a massive saving but I just don't know how it will drop this year!

Also bought star wars mandalorion dobble as DDs bf would love it and so would other DC.

Calendars....what has everyone bought? I haven't found a great deal yet. I need a monthly family planner ideally...

Trying to be cautious and only getting what I need. Went RL shopping with DD and picked up a couple of bits from tk max clearance for a hamper for her.

Sallyfreckles · 10/10/2023 21:07

Bric a brac lego store has 4 lego polybags for £10 for the next couple of days. Good little stocking filler! Sorry I'm not sure how to link but just Google the name.

Yeknom · 10/10/2023 21:14

Cheeky, but have to ask - any way of getting free shipping on the Lego @Sallyfreckles ? xx

Carolwithane · 10/10/2023 21:29

Not for a present but I'm looking for a nice thick long Xmas garland with lights for my staircase if anyone can recommend a good one for a decent price please

Icamehomelikeastone · 10/10/2023 21:30

Barbie pop surprise is reduced to 19.99 at smyths plus it works with their promotion 6 off 50 etc. They are 21 at the entertainer and you could use the birthday club code if you have a birthday coming up

TKRedLemonade · 10/10/2023 21:48

If anyone is planning big Lego purchases it’s double “VIP” points this week, also free Halloween fun pack if VIP, free mini pirate set if over 100 and free Halloween 3:1 witch if over 150 ( I think and they all stack up)

otherwise free “mini Disney steamboat Willy” with Disney or Star Wars or marvel purchases over 100 euro at the end of the month.

I have made theee big purchases this week and last and have 6 “free” sets

I bought this one for my DD's 7th birthday. It's not the most high-tech (it uses thermal technology so only prints in black and white on receipt-type paper), but the image quality is actually pretty good and the refills are mega cheap, so they can print as many photos as they like (it comes with four rolls and the replacements are £10 for 10 rolls - which apparently is enough to print over 700 photos!). It charges via USB, so the photos can be uploaded to a computer and printed from there if wanted in colour.

It's currently £70, but I think it was down to £60 when I bought it earlier in the year.

Fuckingfuckssake · 10/10/2023 21:54

Couple of Velvetisers on Amazon Warehouse, extra 30% off applied at check out, brings it down to £52, might not be appropriate for gifting but if you want one for yourself. . .

NoWordForFluffy · 10/10/2023 21:55

I got that one for DD last year, @Sunnydays41. It was £56 from Smyths when I bought it.

AliasGraceful · 10/10/2023 22:03

Thank you @Fuckingfuckssake I've been dithering for ages & whilst I was leaning towards the copper, that was too good a deal to refuse 💝

Yes think it was later on in the day it went to this. The deals don't always show in basket so need to click in to get them.

Not that I've seen I'm afraid! I know, the 2.99 made me pause too but there's some cute sets!

WimbyAce · 10/10/2023 22:33

Q a bit of Melissa and Doug on Prime deals actually.
Peppa Cruise ship had another couple of quid off it so my parents bought it but I suspect it may come down more. Peppa Waterpark also good price.
I got a couple of Misfittens as cheapest I have seen.
