In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

I'm buying my DS a kindle for his 13 bday (Ereader, not fire), but am stuck between the children’s one and the normal one. I'm worried if I buy the normal one he'll have access to inappropriate books, but that the children’s book selection might be too young!! Help please?????

PlanBea · 09/10/2023 20:01

@Thelifeofawife the G30 goes in straight lines rather than meandering about, I think the suction is similar, but I haven't noticed any difference in size for either. The ones with LIDAR have a little bump on the top according to DH, but the G30 is like a halfway point between meandering and LIDAR. Also our G30 is called Meryl Sweep 😂

Just ordered this from amazon, looks a cute book for little ones

Hello everyone :)
My oldest (8) is after some of the Harry Potter dolls (like barbie sized), specifically hermione because she is the coolest.. if anyone happens to spot them in their travels/whilst browsing and thinks it's a fab price can you let me know please?
We are moving house in 2 weeks so trying to pinch all of the pennies! :)

Thankyou all!
X

I have seen them in Home Bargains and B&M

@PlanBea thanks, that’s helpful. So the performance is better based on it doing straight lines (so fuller coverage)?
ps I love her name!!

SomePig · 09/10/2023 21:08

Thanks to the pp on previous thread who posted about the Bookishly sale. I got a beautiful personalised “this book belongs to” + name stamp plus inkpad for niece for £22 and change which for something custom made I thought was pretty good.

Those who chose Click & Collect for OB, have you had a notification to collect your order? Haven’t heard anything yet bar an order confirmation on 1 Oct.

Sallylovesdaisy · 09/10/2023 21:08

@animalcrossingfan2021 is there a link to the referral thread please

MadeForThis · 09/10/2023 21:09

La vie est Belle is £73 now

I'm showing the lower price but only via the link. Not if I search for it. Xx

shash1982 · 09/10/2023 21:11

Anyone looking to order anything from prettylittlething
If you download the pretty little thing app you can get 25% off with APP25.

Clucket87 · 09/10/2023 21:13

Or if you search for Lancôme and then it is the 50ml collectors edition.
If you just type in La vie est belle it takes you to the more expensive ones. Xx

Thelifeofawife · 09/10/2023 21:37

For the Lancôme perfume, I think they realised what they had done. I added it to my basket but by the time I was ready to check out (approx 3 minutes later) it had been removed saying that more stock was coming soon

Elephantino · 09/10/2023 21:38

@Thelifeofawife same thing happened to me, shame as it was a brilliant bargain

Athlebad · 09/10/2023 21:43

Can anyone recommend an air fryer? We're a family of 3 with a smallish kitchen. If we can get something good and compact for not too much money, that would be ideal, but I don't want to get something rubbish and would prefer to pay more and/or get something bigger if no-one rates the cheaper/smaller ones...

Mimi202020 · 09/10/2023 21:52

I love my ninja airfryer and use it pretty much every day!

DeathStarCanteenGal · 09/10/2023 21:56

@Athlebad Have literally just ordered a Ninja one from QVC - 9.5 litres with two drawers which appeals as I'm veggie and DH and DD are both meat eaters. But it's down from £270 to £180 and you can pay in six monthly installments of £30
of course no worries dear if it's any good yet, but a good make and seems like a good deal

of course no idea if it's any good is what I meant to type 🤦‍♀️

gawditswindy · 09/10/2023 22:03

@Athlebad Get one with two drawers. Ours only has one and I really regret it.

Itwasntme101 · 09/10/2023 22:04

@gawdgawditswindy Very sell some football shirts if you can get a discount for them

gawditswindy · 09/10/2023 22:08

It's a Scotland one I'm looking for and they appear to be exclusively sold by JD, but thanks!

SadlyACupOfTeaDoesNotSolveEverything · 09/10/2023 22:22

@gawditswindy try SBE403800117 for 10% off full price at JD
