More cards in the main game and a squishy cow as opposed to a wooden one (I love the squishy cow, it matters to me haha)
Top pic: main game
Bottom pic: travel game

Herd Mentality: Udderly Addictive Family Board Game | Great For Big Groups or 4+ Players https://amzn.eu/d/72d2D49

This is the one we have but I paid £14.99 last year so might be worth waiting to see if it goes down in price

That is the full version. The mini one doesn’t have the animal pen and counters.

I’ll see if Oliver Bonas gives me the full £10 credit, I may buy the full version from there if they do, if not I will get the mini version as it’s half the price and I’m assuming the pen and counters aren’t actually a necessity

Thelifeofawife · 09/10/2023 16:40

Oh, this is interesting. So the cards, etc are the same size, just a smaller box (and the box is used as the pen as PP stated)?

I’m pretty certain that’s right and yep, the box is the pen with a fence that you put together.

@CanIPutTheTreeUpYet, my small version has the squishy cow in it. I’m wondering if there are three versions out there 😂

Thanks for this. Now you’ve mentioned the squishy cow vs wooden cow I am swaying again - the herd mentality is real (and indeed great fun!) 😂

CanIPutTheTreeUpYet · 09/10/2023 16:52

🤣🤣 not saying I go against the herd on purpose but squishing the cow is pretty satisfying. Who knows how many versions there is, I'd rather have 160 cards than 100 too as I want the interest to last more than a few games. Good luck finding the best bargain herders!

whoknows1230 · 09/10/2023 16:54

I’ve just checked and there are three versions 😂

  1. Normal - full game with big box
  2. Reduced packaging - full game in smaller box
  3. Mini - small game in smaller box

Sorry for confusing everyone 😞

@Thelifeofawife, you don’t need the pen or counters but the counters are a nice touch. I’m guessing you’d just keep count with a notepad and pen. If the mini version only has half the number of cards though, I think you’d get used to them very quickly so a larger number of cards would be better

Doopydoo · 09/10/2023 17:05

@Thelifeofawife yes I knew I was buying the mini version, that will do us, will just be adults playing so no need for all the other bits I thought.
I’ll report back when it arrives.

Doopydoo · 09/10/2023 17:07

CanIPutTheTreeUpYet · 09/10/2023 13:16

@Thelifeofawife I don't think it's a travel version, the box is roughly A4 sized. I think the travel sized has the 'pen' as images inside the lid? But this has fences you slot together to make it. I don't know for sure, I'll add a pic ☺️ Edited: just had a look at the mini game, I can confirm this is the full game ☺️

Edited

They had both. Just a little box for the travel version.

whoknows1230 · 09/10/2023 17:07

In anticipation of a Prime Day bargain, can anybody recommend an Eufy robot vac please? I’m not fussed about mopping but would like one that can go from hard floor to rugs and back again, and that won’t bash into my skirting boards and leave marks

TheBInApartment23 · 09/10/2023 17:09

Does anyone have a Dunelm discount code? I annoyingly missed an offer and now I'm reluctant to pay full price! I think they do student discount...

Flubadubba · 09/10/2023 17:37

@whoknows1230 we have a eufy 30c (I think?) And it is fab. Used daily and keeps the whole place "everyday" clean.

Thank you! Everyday clean is what I’m looking for so sounds great x

Any recommendations for over the ear wireless headphones for a small teen? He might try jogging in them, so a snug-ish fit would be good..

Do you mean bone conduction type ones? If so, I have a very small childlike head and shokz ones fit brilliantly. I’m so happy to be able to finally run with music!

Talisin · 09/10/2023 18:02

@whoknows1230 Also a happy owner of a 30c. I had it down to two models when I was deciding but the 30c was the one that had the price drop on Black Friday so that was the one I went for. My kitchen has a hard floor with rugs and the Eufy copes pretty well - now and then it manages to lift an edge and get stuck, at which point it cries till you come and release it. The major change I’ve noticed since getting it is the significant drop in the need to dust.

Oh, and you’ll need these. Trust me 👀

Someaddedsugar · 09/10/2023 18:28

Do you need a different Eufy for each floor of your house or is one clever enough to be able be moved upstairs and know what's going on?

I didn’t even know what this was, had to google it, now I’ve seen it of course I want one!! (There’s no hope for me, I’m well and truly down the rabbit hole)
I was thinking, what’s the point in them, they won’t pick up much and will need to be cleaned a lot (I assume), but if it reduces the need to dust also then this is a big plus

They don't do stairs, and, unless you get more expensive model which maps the room, they sort of...meander and wander around (though you can set to spot clean or just so the room perimeter on ours).

Cleaning them is pretty easy and not terribly time consuming. All the gathered dust/dirt etc is collected in a drawer you just pull out and empty into a bin. It comes with a little tool with a comb on one end to get hair out of the main brush and the other end has a razor bit that will cut through anything stubborn that has wound its way around the mechanism. All the brushes clip in and out and can be replaced.

PlanBea · 09/10/2023 19:07

@whoknows1230 another vote for the 30c as a good all-round hoover, but we also have a G30 as our downstairs (main) one. It performs better but it's bumper cracked and can't be replaced so it doesn't look as polished as it should! Also @Talisin 's linked accessory is a must 😂

nicky2512 · 09/10/2023 19:13

I now want herd mentality. I don’t need it but I want it!!

I have dogs so I guess the G30 would be better for me if it performs better? Is it still slim enough to go under furniture?
