Sorry did you mean White Fox clothing? My youngest has mentioned this company but no experience of them. Is sizing ok?

longestlurkerever · 30/09/2023 15:42

Stranger things theatre tickets. Taylor swift merch. Books. Art stuff.

hby9628 · 30/09/2023 15:43

My 12yo just asked for an iPhone 14pro max 🤣
In reality she will be getting a new horse riding jacket.

Emmmmz9 · 30/09/2023 15:48

What are you getting your 15 and 13 year old daughters please?
They have already chosen some activewear bits but needing a couple of surprises
Wondered about Pandora charm bracelet? All ideas welcome

TreesandRug · 30/09/2023 18:32

My 12 year old isn't into clothes and make up. Hits would be sports equipment, bike, roller skates, board games, books, craft stuff. She still likes a cuddly toy too.

Opal4 · 30/09/2023 22:11

My dd is 11 next month. For her birthday she is getting game for Nintendo switch. Pokemon cards, she has chosen what she wants. Has asked for a jellycat plush. I have got her a t shirt of her favourite animal and a memo/photo board for her room. Grandparents are getting her air dry clay.

For Christmas she has asked for another game for the switch. We have talked about roller skates. Other ideas are waffle maker , exploding kittens card game. I have got her a t shit and hoodie and a book ,will get some robux.

CowboyJoanna · 30/09/2023 22:20

DD is 13, so 1 year older than the title but to be honest her interests haven't changed that much from last year. She's very geeky.

This year she asked for some anime books, My Hero Academia, Toiletbound, Demon Slayer etc etc. Also new headphones and youtubers hoodies...a steam card now she's old enough for a steam account. Obviously she won't get everything she wants but I know she'd make a stink if I bought some stuff she didn't want instead.

I already bought her some calligraphy brush markers but she'll want some more stationery things too like coloured pencils.

NegativeCreeep · 01/10/2023 08:35

Miniverse craft sets might bridge that gap between be too young for toys, but still enjoying craft

Both DC are getting a new suitcase packed with new summer clothes, local currency and a book about Mayan history. Hopefully this won't be a disappointment because the real "present" is that we're taking them on holiday to Mexico. They've wanted to go for years, it's been planned for ages and I'm bursting with excitement but we won't tell them until Christmas Day.

What is the book about Mayan history, please? DD loved studying them at school last year so think she'd like that.

She's asked for a new phone (TBF hers is DH's old one and is a bit shit) and a bubble tea case for her earbuds. She does want a VR headset to play Roblox on but we'd never see her if we got her that 😂

BlowDryRat · 01/10/2023 20:55

@ChimChimeny I got a few different ones.

For DD (11):

For DS (13)

Christ is this what you want to instil in your 11 year olds ?? Make up and clothes ?? What are you teaching them - a woman’a primary objective is to look pleasing. What a crock.

Let me guess - “it’s all they’ve asked for” or “ they’ve outgrown their toys “.

Nah, they are still kids and you need to allow them to be kids still. Go and buy your children some toys.

2 daughters aged 10 and 8 and zero toys on their list.

What does that tell you...absolutely fucking nothing.

But what i will tell you is they are top of their classes, compete in a high level sport and very active in community projects, love theme parks and trampoline parks and have an amazing childhood.

One loves skincare/makeup and one loves fashion but you want me to get them toys to what....appease your out dated values and views.

justplodding · 11/10/2023 14:57

Sorry @Mountainviewse went on a rant there...

Ideas we have are

Gymnastic leos ( about a million as thats their sport)
Bubble tea kits
Popcorn maker for our weekly movie nights
Clothes as one loves fashion
Cleansing balm im going with the beauty crop avocado one i think.
Spirograph
OOdies they absolutely love
Electric blanket
Alexa for their rooms
LED strip lights for their room

It's not that deep, 11 is the age where girls start to see themselves as young women.

Yes, exactly. And they like to start experimenting with make-up, no difference to how they enjoyed dress up when younger. It's nothing to do with how others see them it is for themself (my 11.6 DD likes trying out some makeup but so far never wears it out) They shouldn't be shamed for doing something many girls enjoy.

anunlikelyseahorse · 14/10/2023 14:15

Dd (14, so slightly out of the age range) is desperate for Netflix so she'll be getting a Netflix gift card she can then choose 3 months no ads or 6 months with ads. I've also signed her up to a patchwork course starting in January for 6 weeks. So we'll get her a sewing kit, some fat quarters, and a book on patchwork. If the course goes well, we'll get her a sewing machine for her birthday next year.
Ds 12 small Lego kit, one term of judo lessons (and the kit he'll need). if he likes the Judo we'll sign him up for another term of lessons for his birthday.

This is the list from my 12yo. Luckily she has said she'd rather have the Superdrug / primark gift cards as she will get more for her money. I have bought her a ticket to everyone's talking about Jamie. She wants to go but has no idea it's touring hence why it's not on list.
