@Iateitallofit is it just the cards your son is into or the extras to play the game? I used to sell Pokémon cards so have loads of extra stuff like the coins and dice sets, jumbo cards etc. I'm happy to send just for price of postage, send me a PM if interested 😊

Thanks! It’s only collecting he is into, for some reason he rejects all suggestions of actually playing with the cards. If I hear the words ‘vintage charizard’ once more I may go mad 😀

I saw a cute home made one using 24 small kiddie socks (all those ones that lose their pair) hung from a string, bunting style, using mini wooden pegs (the type you can probably get in The Works).

Talking of The Works, they did a cardboard fill- it-yourself advent calendar last year. They were really poor quality and the wrong bits ripped when trying to open the windows, so avoid those ones.

I love the sock idea!

Please watch if buying toys as the items on AliExpress as not all made to the correct UK/EU standards and can be a hazard for all children but especially younger ones due to choking etc.

Some stuff can be great but with certain items I would be wary of gifting it and just pay the extra to buy one to the correct standard.

Woohoo, I keep checking back as they update the clearance section regularly.

Annoyingly, most stuff shows as sold out as soon as it's added but sometimes get lucky like with the candle.

RHS are offering 30% off membership, making it £49.70 for an individual or £73.50 for joint membership (both with annual direct debit). It looks like you get garden visits, a magazine and phone help included with that, but sadly we live nowhere near any of the gardens!

For people who missed the sale on party equipment on the Etsy site that was mentioned on an earlier thread (where things were reduced to £1), I've just seen lots of party type things at Poundland at £1.25 each or 5 for £5 eg 10x foil confetti balloons. Also balloon arches for £4.

They also had light switch stickers for kids' rooms for £1, which might be a nice stocking filler? And lovely kids plate, mug & bowl sets for £4.
Plus the Snakesss game at £5 and air drying clay at £1.50 were still in stock (mentioned on an earlier thread).

Useful but in a Rest and Recuperate way, if you are out and about real life shopping, until the 26 November you can get a free small coffee in Dunkin Donuts until 11am.

If anyone is looking for Xmas pjs M&S are doing two for £16 on selected kids nightwear at the moment, including lots of the Christmas ones (like Percy pig). Given they’re £12 each normally that’s a pretty good discount.
