@Smileatthesmallthings thankyou! It still does work 15% off first order and 5 pound off voucher already recieved!

GettingOldWithoutStyle · 28/09/2023 21:36

I don't have a voucher for Hobbycraft 🤔 wonder why. I buy there often

lemonsmum · 28/09/2023 21:36

@shitafrick definitely recommend herd mentality we have just played the normal size tonight for games night. We've played it with different people and they always seem to enjoy it. My 11year old still enjoys it even though her answers can be very random and not with the majority.

Beckafett · 28/09/2023 21:38

Hi someone was looking for Japanese type snacks I think on the last thread- saw these in TK Max tonight

Have you downloaded the app? It's only available if you've done that

GettingOldWithoutStyle · 28/09/2023 21:46

Yeah I do have the app. Strange!

Petal7 · 28/09/2023 21:51

TK Maxx had Spode Christmas dishes! I had to restrain myself!

Someone had asked about a Polly Pocket type of toy for boys. Id noticed recently that the super mario movie toys have a few little open out play sets with tiny figures and had said to my kids that they were like Nintendo Polly Pockets. 🙂

Here is a link to the van playset so you can see images of it. It may be cheaper elsewhere, but this link has photos and videos of the product so you can see the sizings.

@RainbowZebraWarrior I had heard of forbidden planet, although I couldn't have told you what they sold! I've just checked them out and they have some fab stuff thank you. Alas not Baki the grapler though 😕

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 28/09/2023 23:12

Thanks also @FastBlueHedgehog & @Dee1224

I'm case anyone else is struggling with Oliver bonas, I had to click on "apply store credit" at the final payment page then magically the £10 was taken off. I did have to use a private browser and a "hide my email" address but thanks so much for the tip PP.

Borris · 29/09/2023 00:10

Started my DDs stocking thanks to the Oliver bonas offer - thanks

WetFlump · 29/09/2023 00:12

Any ideas on a boys version of a secret diary type thing? He loves the idea of a lockable diary and passcodes etc and a screen with buttons, but doesn’t want a “girly” looking one, so those are out.

Tbry · 29/09/2023 01:07

Also as I’m looking for gifts for various aged nieces and nephews (from 8-25) which ages are these popular with currently?

Luddite26 · 29/09/2023 06:29

I use mine a lot should use it more often. I don't really use hotel Chocolat in it I use cadburys for the kids and Lindt for myself and anything else . Also Costa coffee. I've had it about a year and don't regret buying it at all.
I initially invested thinking the cost of living crisis would stop me using cafes so I could make a hot choc when I get home from a walk etc. Grandson uses it lot too. And DD has just bought one after having a Lindt hot choc out of mine saying it was the best hot choc ever.
And they are really well made good quality machines. I bought off QVC on 5 easy pays so didn't break the bank £20 a month! And it doesn't come out scolding. And is pretty easy to clean. Can use plant milk just as effectively as cows.

BuffyFairy · 29/09/2023 06:30

Thanks for the Benefit free primer code. If anyone has a Benefit referral link please can you pop it on the referral thread?

I think people were previously mentioning bubble tea? Not something I know anything about but there’s a kit on OB plus the £10 off.

@Tbry thank you so much, and to all the helpful OB posters. My DD has been wanting one of these for ages. I've started my day by snaffling one with a tenner off!

Smiggle have got some in the sale - search 'lockable notebook'

PeriwinkleForever · 29/09/2023 07:01

@WetFlump also check the UV secret pens which you can get in Smiggle and maybe on Amazon too. They do invisible writing which can only be revealed by the small uv light (on the end of the pen). My kids love them.

Delahot · 29/09/2023 07:10

Still only getting £5 off Oliver Bonas even up to last page 🫤

Delahot · 29/09/2023 07:30

Had to use the hidden email ‘thing’ and it worked

BlackFlyChardonnay · 29/09/2023 07:35

Finally used the OB offer, after trawling the site for far too long.

I decided on the cookie mix bottle for my 4 year old nephew to make with my brother. He loves baking and this looks low stress for everyone involved 😅 I had the £10 credit plus %15 carers discount, which stacks, so is £4.15 delivered.

If you are a carer, I'd recommend signing up to Discounts for Carers.

How do I sign up for Discounts for Carers?

Signing up for discounts is easy with Discounts for Carers. It takes 2 minutes, it's free, and you can access hundreds of discounts right away.

Which machine have you got as thinking of getting one for DH. Any advice on the best one to buy?

mummymummymummummum · 29/09/2023 07:47

Herd Mentality is great fun! It was a very successful gift last Christmas. We’ve played with adults and children 4-14. Younger ones buddy up with someone older.
