Where to buy organic Xmas duck my usual place has let me down

No unfortunately waitrose only do Gressingham ducks.

I found a wondeful award winning farm selling the most beautiful ducks but they don't send them frozen anymore so I can't have it for Xmas...

Ask your butcher to order one for you?

I don't have a butcher.

Yes I'm doing all that as well. I'm asking everywhere and goofkknf because they go live for Xmas soon and get sold out instantly.

As I said I'm hoping someone will know a good company like the one I used to use but who have now changed delivery unfortunately so there is no guarantee it will be fresh for Xmas day.

I second Riverford, but I think they only deliver just before Christmas and they're not frozen. You have to order well in advance though, as they sell out quickly.

Came on to say Pipers Farm! Definitely frozen.

I've just had a look at Pipers Farm as I'm always interested in alternatives to Eversfield, but it looks as though most of their meat is free range rather than organic, or am I missing something? The quality of meat from Eversfield is always really good and everything is organic. I think they have duck as Christmas.

Abel and cole you can pre-order and although I wasn't looking for duck it's not been a mad scramble to get what I wanted in the past.

Or buy one now and freeze it yourself?

@Growlybear83 it’s all ‘properly’ free range and imo is really good quality meat. I’ve not had a whole duck from them but the breast and leg joints were delicious! Although I didn’t register the request was for organic!

Thanks I've emailed a few of the places above and had vague responses without telling me order dates and how the duck is delivered.

Organic seems extremely rare I will settle for free range but prefer it sync
