@Cubic could you try shipping to a locker in America then shipping here? Ship7 and stackry are off the top of my head. Not sure if it would work, but may be worth a try?

Babynumberthreeee · 19/09/2023 19:55

@Notherereally1 I got these from amazon to keep them all separate

Its Vans family week this week, so if you join their loyalty scheme (free) you get 30% off their stuff. https://www.vans.co.uk/ I mean its still not cheap, but its cheaper! I don't know if you can combine it with the 10% you normally get off for your first order but I doubt it.

Thanks! Had my eye on a hoodie for a while!

.Redfoot are having a closing down sale - I’ve bought some superb quality shoes and slippers from them previously. I’ve just ordered these sheepskin slippers for my adult children. Can’t go wrong for £14.99!

Fedupdoc · 19/09/2023 20:24

Trying the EXCLU40 for fossil but won’t add… anyone know if it’s expired?

happytobemrsg · 19/09/2023 20:35

@Notlongnow1 THANK YOU SO MUCH for the Superspace link! Really struggling finding some for my 2 DS (7 & 4) & this is absolutely brilliant. This will be their main present from me & DH. Thanks again!!

Thelifeofawife · 19/09/2023 20:45

Just a note on the Glossy boxes. I have just got round to checking my parcels and one of my boxes is missing, looks like I got an extra mystery box in its place.
I ordered a few mystery boxes (at £5) and 3 specific ones (£15), but one of the specific boxes is missing, which is annoying given they cost more.
Just a heads up for those who may have chosen not to open yet, it’s worth doing to make sure you have the right items.

I’m very happy with the contents of the boxes I did receive

Wilzo235 · 19/09/2023 20:50

@EricandEnid thank you for the suggestion. I actually managed to find a French website with it in stock after posting. I've been looking for months. Fingers crossed it's legitimate but if not the lockers may be a good idea. Thank you

Babynumberthreeee · 19/09/2023 21:15

Sorry didn't Realise I was so late on the bag advice 😅

Tesco toy sale is on, everything 50% off but worth checking original prices against other shops (not my photos, images taken from facebook)

Top of my DD’s list too @mrsanflowerpot - hoping for a code for the presale but is there another way to purchase them early?! Last time I got tickets, I got them a T-shirt and wrapped them in that?

So sorry for the delay, school parents evening (as a teacher!). I am super lucky that we know someone who has a box at the O2 (I use the word know very very loosely), so although I now cannot afford anything else for her for Christmas - or ever - her auntie and uncle have also contributed and we managed to get a ticket for her in the box. Will now be buying all my 2024 clothes on Vinted, but even if we get a code, I'm teaching when the tickets go on sale so had no chance

Notlongnow1 · 19/09/2023 21:37

@happytobemrsg aah good! We got ours when they were a kickstarter and they are so loved here!

allthingsred · 19/09/2023 21:42

Crucible · 19/09/2023 21:43

Hello I'd like to get my sister a podcast that is paid for all about football. I know that is a bit specific and strange . There are loads of footie podcasts out there but most are free and full of adverts. Is there one that would need to be paid for, so a really good one, maybe with interesting interviews? I'm not a footie fan but she is. (And a Gooner but she loves all football)

mrsanflowerpot · 19/09/2023 21:46

CottonHeadedNinnyMug · 18/09/2023 23:25

Sorry @mrsanflowerpot it's doodlebugandco1
Then scroll through and look for the tickets

Absolutely gorgeous stuff!!!

BastardtheCat · 19/09/2023 21:47

I bought one of these last Christmas and my DD still uses it for relaxing time in her room. Also bought one each for a younger niece and nephew - it's gone down a storm. They gave me 10% off to give as referrals so you could use this link if you're interested.

For those with access to the next VIP sale, just managed to get my husband a couple of next polo shirts for less than £9 each. And then a straw hat for £12.50. It's the same one as he has now but not been on several holidays, in various suitcases and through the washer multiple times. I might have also brought myself a new hat.
For kids I've managed to get some Mickey Mouse socks for £4.50 for a pack of 3 and a Mr Men legionnaire hat for £5, as well as a double pack of paw patrol pjs for £10.50. Xx

Moonshine5 · 19/09/2023 22:12

@FudgeSodaPops where did you buy the laniege lip mask from?

Beautifulsunflowers · 19/09/2023 22:19

My grumm box arrived so that’s a couple of bits ticked off.

Loving these threads as always! But I’m getting obsessed with checking in each day 3 times a day so I don’t miss anything!

If anyone has the Asda rewards app you can transfer your reward money into a Christmas saver pot and Asda adds money depending on how much you have in your pot. You can change it into vouchers from end November.

You absolute star @SadlyACupOfTeaDoesNotSolveEverything. Thanks a million. Unfortunately the code isn’t playing ball (maybe because the top is already ‘reduced’) but I’m grateful for your offer.

I think most discounts from unidays etc are off full price items unless otherwise specified. Sorry you had no luck.
