Also know if any coding robot animal toy? Move the robot via codes

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 26/09/2023 11:24

@Eaglefree we have Cozmo a little robot you code I believe. It’s good for beginners I think. I’m not very good with technology sorry but Dc got him years ago and loved him but now unfortunately he just sits in his box.

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 26/09/2023 11:28

Sorry just see you said animal so not sure you will want cozmo or Vector.

SpoilerFree · 26/09/2023 11:38

Does anyone know if after Christmas there are similar threads to this on any of the other boards for us deal obsessives? Thank to everyone here I have snapped up lots of amazing bargains already and never want this to end!

OnionBag · 26/09/2023 11:53

@SpoilerFree this thread continues all year. After Christmas SideOrderOfChips usually starts the “prequel “ threads.

The New Mario Switch game is £37.50 pre order today from Curry's with code WONDER25. I've ordered, I think it's a good price as Mario games seem to rarely go under £40 especially new ones.

Oooo thank you for this!

mummydoris2006 · 26/09/2023 13:17

I've just nipped into my local Morrisons and squishmallows were £12 instead of £20 for those who were looking. No idea if this is good as my DD is 17 but just saw they were on offer

Fluffycloudsfloatinginthesky · 26/09/2023 13:41

Does anyone know did the hotel chocolate velvetiser go lower than £30 off last year? I remember loads of comments on it but not how cheap it got. Thanks.

Wait4nothing · 26/09/2023 13:43

Having played with a few - I’d say go for a plastic marble run, not wooden @Eaglefree

my fave type is the galt ones (lots of add ons in future) they seem most stable and easy to build with.

I’ve played with magnatile ones too but it’s more like balls than marbles and they are a bit unstable at times (even with an adult building).

Does anyone know what sort of Christmas pyjamas/jumpers Primark has at the moment?
If anyone has been lately or going, could you report back 😊 I don’t want to take a trip there if their selection is small or prices too high.
Thanks in advance!!

Famousthehero · 26/09/2023 14:06

Think Amazon are price matching the Cookeez makery now for £29.99,
though still with 1-2 month delivery estimate.

I think my kids would love it, but can’t bring myself to blow £60 on 2 little cardboard ovens and a cheap looking teddy… yet… anyway guess I’ll be watching the prices 🤓

Theraffarian · 26/09/2023 14:28

@DogsAreAGirlsBestFriend a few days ago my fairly large Primark didn’t have Christmas stock in , no jumpers pjs etc yet . They had just started to get a small selection of their version of oodies.

Doopydoo · 26/09/2023 15:09

Nothing to add at the moment but just found out we now have a thanks button.

Thats good I think.

MulticolourTriangles · 26/09/2023 15:59

Has anyone seen any little bits and bobs I can pop in my two DDs (8 & 6) hanging advent calendar every few days along with the usual chocolates?

Theraffarian · 26/09/2023 16:03

Just seen this on hukd and it looks rather nice , not sure what Aldi candles are like scent throw wise but £24.99 available from 29th October, and each day is a different scent ,

Reviews aren’t great but I recently bought Unicorn and mermaid rings for £5 which I thought looked sweet (not super Christmassy I suppose)

unicornwonders · 26/09/2023 16:15

@DogsAreAGirlsBestFriend i don’t know where your based but the metro centre (newcastle) primark had some kids christmas jumpers and pjs and women’s as well, not sure about men’s. So think it’s all starting to be put out

WhereIsThisGoing · 26/09/2023 16:17

For marble runs I highly recommend the Vtech one. DS got one for Christmas last year and it has seen more use than any other toy. This year he has asked for more extension sets.

Fam23 · 26/09/2023 16:31

Hello festive shoppers!
Has anyone ever bought from Yorkshire trading? Prices look reasonable and their reviews seem good but I wondered about the quality of the products please?

I was in smyths today and they had a big selection of fidgets/squishes/untangle puzzles and other little things all for £1 or £2. Not Christmassy though.

Hedjwitch · 26/09/2023 16:47

Good sale on Cyberjammies at the mo. Came nicely packaged too.

We have one of those annoying advent calendars with little boxes that I always struggle to fill. Last year I got a load of stationary bits from Shein like wax seal and little wax bits, christmas themed washi tape and stamps etc which fitted the boxes. DS used it to decorate his class christmas cards.

This year my friend was saying she got a load of fidget toys and light up hair bobbles etc from shein to put in advent calendars.

Beanies coffee jars all £2 today on the website.

Thank you! Just ordered Bestsellers Selection for DD. She had the Creamy Caramel as an aisle of wonder purchase from Aldi and loved it.
