@Ehunt1 oh no - I ordered the dinosaur domino's and was hoping to give them as a birthday gift.

I haven't spotted a refund yet - did yours come by email?

Quick question for (mainly) Scottish people and those who know about football gear (a tad niche!). I'm hoping to get DH a Scotland football shirt so a) any discounts ever? And b) are they likely to change their shirts before the Euros? He's very relaxed about not having the current one but it'd be a bit galling to pay £100 and it not to be the one they wear for the finals (IF they qualify).

I know about who sports kits cheap site but hoping to get the genuine article as it will be his main present.

Try sports direct. That’s where we got one for DS last year.

Hi ,

For the poster who was looking for F1 clothing: I found a load in my local Costco. Pretty good prices

Has anyone seen these little live pets in action/can recommend, please?

Yes DC have the pig and still play with it loads over a year later.

I'd definitely recommend especially reduced!

Blessedbethefruitz · 22/09/2023 19:36

@Dkann How old are they please? I'm not sure if ds would be jealous if dd got one for Christmas. We do have birthdays a month later though.

Dkann · 22/09/2023 19:38

Marks and Spencer’s have there 2 for £16 kids Christmas PJ’s up

Thanks for posting this. It stacked with a 15% off kids nightwear sparks offer I had on the app as well. So I've just paid £27 for 4 pairs. Cheaper than Primark!

Ehunt1 · 22/09/2023 20:02

@Someaddedsugar yes I got an email from both PayPal and Stylishly party,

We got the pig for our daughter who was 7 last Christmas and it was all kicking off with the youngest so we got her one too for her birthday!

Does anyone know of any deals on Schleich horse playsets please, or can recommend something similar?
DD has been very specific in that there must be separate stables for each horse but the prices are making me cringe

Melissa & Doug have one that might be suitable, I'm sure I've seen at a lower price, might be worth checking camelcamel

What age is Victoria's Secret and Hype for please?

I’d say Hype is up to 10 years old. VS is 12 plus.

I have a 16 year old who would love make-up and beauty products but I don't know where to start. She is sorted for eyeliner, mascara and foundation but she likes neutral/bronze type products for contours and eyelids - should we go to a shop for advice?
She's outgrown most body sprays - I was thinking of Victoria Secret or perfume but where to start - nothing too sweet or vanillay. Again a lot of stuff is just available on line which makes it difficult!

My teenage DD loves Elf - cruelty free and suitable for vegans too. Very reasonably priced and often with deals in Boots.

Thelifeofawife · 22/09/2023 20:23

Fossil orders…My order was split for delivery, I received one item, the remaining 3 were due to arrive today. Email confirming delivery had been successful, opened my parcel and the box was empty!
Anyone else had this issue?

I came back on to look for the discount link for a starry style lamp? I've gone through the thread and done a search and can't find it! DD is really keen to make her bedroom into a relaxing and cozy area so a lively lamp would be different to the usual fairy lights.

Help!

I hope someone can help as I don't remember a starry style lamp being mentioned.

I also had to read twice as I thought you were asking for a Harry styles lamp..

@HappyLittleLentil page 7 and page 11 have links to star lamps

Hi all, I hope you don’t mind a quick off-topic warning to check the package carefully if buying the new iPhone 15 via Amazon.

A friend of my oldest DS just bought one - all packaged properly and sealed. When he opened it today, the phone itself had been swapped out for a cheap Chinese knock off - all the other stuff in there was genuine.

It had obviously been done at packing stage by staff and he is now in dispute with the seller.

If it had been me buying it for a Xmas present, it probably wouldn’t have occurred to me to open it to check, so thought I would mention it here.

Room4onemore · 22/09/2023 21:07

Not a bargain but bought my first advent calendar today, getting in the spirit, I wish places would have their wrapping paper out. I use different paper for each kid so I know who’s is who lol

bizzey · 22/09/2023 21:20

@Thelifeofawife
1 of 2 items from Fossil arrived at the same time as when they e mailed me to say they couldn't process my order as my address was incomplete 🤷‍♂️.

So other item must come from somewhere different?
But strange how my address was ok for the item I received.

Have to say though that the item I received (for MEEE!! 😁😁) was nicely packaged.

It was a bracelet clasped around a card, in a lovely bag and inside a tin which is perfect for weekend /holiday trips for jewelry storage.

I was very pleased .
Hope other item is not too delayed...it is for a birthday!

Thanks again to PP who mentioned Fossil.

WhyHasAllTheRumGone · 22/09/2023 21:29

Anyone seen any bargains for Yankee candle advent calendars? I always buy one for DF.

Blessedbethefruitz · 22/09/2023 21:30

@User202242 I bought this a few months ago (full price) and 4yo ds finally has a comfort stuffy for cuddling every night! Just ordered the yellow for his stocking actually, he's mario mad!

Blessedbethefruitz · 22/09/2023 21:36

@WimbyAce This is my fear - I was thinking of the lamb for baby girl (almost 2 at Christmas but loves caring for stuffies and her baby doll). But her big brother will be almost 5 and I fear may have some serious fomo. He's been a bit jealous of her baby doll (though has been offered one many times before in shops and never been interested), and we don't have any real pets due to allergies (mine).

I'm having to gift plan v carefully due to this kind of friction atm. She's already going to be crazy cheap for Christmas as she doesn't need anything due to big brother - a few elsa bits, a buggy and carrier for her baby doll.

ThatshallotBaby · 22/09/2023 22:20

Thank you so much @buttondown, those straighteners will hopefully help ds maintain Ihis rather wild mullet Grin
