Can anyone help me with sizing of kids primark oodies? For an average sized 10/11 year old girl would I need a medium or large?

recklessgran · 21/09/2023 15:34

A couple of great bargain hardbacks for under £3 suitable for 3-6 year olds here; Billy the Goat and Oaky the Oakleaf I've ordered them both for DGD as I love a rhyming book and so does she.

@BadgerFace on the basis that i got my short 11 year old an adult one last year, I'd go for the large.
DD is about 140cm tall and the adult one is big on her, but not so big as to be unwearable, and it will be fine again this winter
hope this helps

sellote · 21/09/2023 16:21

Does anyone know when the next Tu 25% off kids clothes is due please?

I'd go adult, my dd is 11 and she prefers she fit of the adult ones. Last year they had s/m or m/l in the adult section, i got her the s/m one. The kids ones aren't quite baggy or cosy enough.

@Ginann Tesco had 25% off last week. I think it’s finished. I’m waiting for a TU discount. I miss their 25% off deal.

Sorry if it's been on here but. Just got DH a lovely coffee machine that takes the old style nespresso capsules and it came not only with 15 tester capsules but under the packaging was a further 150 capsules. £59 for machine

Thank you for The Works tip off @WetFlump Got a few Xmas pressies. :)

BlairWaldorfOG · 21/09/2023 18:26

I've just grabbed a few reduced bits in Asda at the end of one of the aisles- Disney Scratch Art books reduced to £1.50, the detailed Disney Colouring Books £1.50, Disney hardback notebooks £1.50, Crayola Colours of Kindness pack of felts for £1, Crayola Colouring Pencils £1 and the Staedler Fineliner hard case packs of 12 for £1.50.
Oh and the 6 pack of Crayola easy paints £2.50.

I think that was most of the stuff being sold off in our Asda. No prices on anything but scanned through at the above.

Anyone who bought the Harumika dolls as gifts:

I have 4 of them from Bargain Max and they're excellent quality but it is almost essential to buy more material, 30cm x 30cm is optimal as any smaller and you are limited in styles.
Things like pins or mini hair clips (Poundland or Claires) are really useful too as they can clip extra layers at the back.
I have also found tracing paper to be a great tool for more advanced designs. Ribbons, bows and tulle can add hours of extra entertainment.

Solitaryasanoyster · 21/09/2023 18:45

Does anyone know of an air up code, please?

Does anyone have any recommendations for starter make up sets? My 7 year really really wants make up, but I really really don’t want to get the stuff in Claire’s and the like, just because it reminds me of the stuff that gave me a horrible reaction when I was a kid!

Bonus points for bargains obviously, but I’d rather pay a bit more for something better, if that makes sense.

Have you looked at Miss Nella. Not particularly bargainous but non toxic, made in the UK and lovely quality for this age

Tesco having another 25% off soon - maybe 2/3 weeks?
Also starting to have 50% off specific areas clothing wise with clubcard, I know men’s underwear and socks are definitely one of them and wouldn’t be surprised if they did it off all nightwear etc.
I work for them.

OnionBag · 21/09/2023 20:12

I’ve had a £9 refund from that Etsy shop so I’ve no idea what will turn up 😄
