My dad is 17 and it’s the first year I’ve bought it - she’s previously had beauty ones from PLT, ASOS, bare minerals and glossy box. Although the bare minerals one was a previous year one hugely discounted.

My dd12 has a revolution one from last year (reduced massively) and she’ll love it.

The monthly subscription boxes from glossy box are a good shout too as a present. I get one or two of those usually and that does the trick when they’re younger I think.

I’ve benefitted from lots of bargains from these threads over the years but don’t think I’ve ever contributed - but now I think I’ve found something worthwhile!
Have been looking for gifts for my Harry Potter obsessed DS and found an online shop called “The Curious Emporium”. They have lots of HP and Fantastic Beasts stuff and currently have an offer of 20% off all orders over £10. I placed an order on Thurs evening which was delivered yesterday and am very pleased. Thought it was worth a mention!

DH and I love the Exit games and had the advent calendar last year (not the book one, but the mountain one). I'd say they are definitely more for adults than kids as they can be quite a challenge. We will get the book one this year.

The escape room games are good for an evening of fun, but I'd definitely get them when they are on offer. And some are so difficult, that 4 reasonably well educated adults struggled with a couple of them!

I think DD will want more jellycats this year but she's not into anything specific any more. She's only 8!

Yep - mine was a dark burgundy, not a shade i or anyone I know would wear, I'll take a photo when I get home and post it.

Mine was brownish with very fine glitter in. Didn’t suit me at all.

Just wanted to thank whoever recommended crafty arts for the Disney and brio advent calendars. I ordered them on Thursday and they arrived yesterday morning.
I got the Disney villainous game from them reduced to £7.39.(£36.98 on Amazon) The box is damaged but my kids won’t care. I also got a few other bargains that had very slightly damaged packaging.

The Naked Marshmallow Co have a 50% off sale atm. We thoroughly recommend the s’mores gift set which we have done over Christmas a few times. I have also given it as a gift before and it’s been well received.

I emailed them to check dates and they told me that the stock usually has 5-6 months life and so should be ok for Christmas. I haven’t received our order yet so can’t 100% verify this!
