Anyone still waiting for Xmas deliveries?

Still missing one from Debenhams and one from Asos both via Evri! Both ordered well before Christmas and I've had Evri parcels since.
I imagine they are stuck at the bottom of a pile somewhere.
I don't really want to cancel, but how long do I wait?

I just seem to have anxiety about it all, it's not mine now but what do I do. It was actually Nike, I reordered when they told me it'd take a week for an investigation and that one came Christmas Eve so I was happy with the refund. Their email stated my refund would now be processed as Evri have accepted liability and said it's lost.

So it's Evri who are out of pocket? Thinking of just donating to next year's Christmas present appeal.

I have an Evri delivery been delayed since New Years Eve supposedly due to the adverse weather , a more sceptical person may think as the weather was fine the delivery drivers just wanted new year off!

Yup, almost seven weeks now - still with Evri apparently. I’m never doing online again for Christmas.

One of my very overdue deliveries arrived today. Even the courier said, "Open it up to see if it's gone bad and I can take it back as 'Refused delivery'" - it had been squashed very badly and it had all spoiled so he did. (It was very helpful of him.)

Got two of my JL sale parcels this morning but not the packages ordered before Christmas.

Do you think the delayed deliveries this Christmas will result in more people returning to High Street shopping next Christmas?

Just some jewellery but it's coming from Israel so we knew it would come after Christmas. I'm expecting it some time next week

Christmas presents posted 7th December RM 1st class to London not arrived. RM customer service seem distinctly uninterested after waiting on the phone over half an hour to speak to someone.

Just had a message from Evri saying they have lost 'it' and to contact seller to refund or replace. Problem is, it doesn't say which parcel is lost. What a mess.

One parcel finally arrived yesterday (Royal Mail) and today I had a reply from another online company to say my order had been dispatched but it is now presumed lost, so they've refunded the items which are now out of stock and are re-sending the other items. Delivery will be Royal Mail again I think so fingers crossed!

A train set via Evri that I ordered early December (though to be honest I doubt the sender actually sent it after they generated the tracking number as it’s not updated and someone told me they have past form for doing that). I’m in the process of getting a refund.

Some vintage books for oh via Royal Mail that I ordered 10th of December. However, to my surprise tracking updated on it this morning and it says it’s now in transit and due in a few days so I’m cautiously optimistic on this one.

Just realised I’ve had a next order not arrive which is extremely unusual for them as I usually have no problems at all and are my go to…. But then it is with Evri….

All parcels now finally arrived.
Well, I went and collected 3 from the RM delivery office in the end after two failed deliveries, where they wouldn't leave them in a 'safe place' or,with neighbours, again. Had to wait several days due to the opening hours now being very much reduced - and apparently it's closing too I've since discovered. Not sure why as it's always busy, so can't be down to lack of use so guess it's more cutting staff/hours than efficiency. No idea where they'll go then - central I guess which is in the city centre. No parking, more inconvenient - urgh.
Why won't they just leave them!

You'd think smashed grapes would at least send out a generic email once a week. They are opening the vouchers on Monday for general use and they haven't even caught up yet. It's a bad way to start a business, I'm sympathetic but keep me updated for crying out loud.
Debenhams refunded same day, asos still say it's on the way.

I'll just be more careful who I shop with, based on who did and didn't deliver within reasonable time limits.
So for us locally, Amazon and Evri all were delivering well, on time and no fuss. Anything coming by RM has been a disaster so will avoid in the short run where I can, until they can offer a decent service here again.

Some tinsel just arrived today - ordered in early December through Amazon, though it was sent via Royal Mail. I'm still getting Christmas cards.,

Something I ordered was picked up Evri on 16 December and said it’s at the senders depot since then. The eBay seller doesn’t seem to care. I’m giving it until Monday and if it’s still not arrived by then I’m getting a refund. I’ve raised a case with Evri but don’t expect it’ll get me anywhere!

Just received Christmas card sent on 12th December, 1 hours drive away

I’m only reading this because it appeared on active, but I won’t be doing anything different. Everything I ordered online arrived in time. A lot of it was ordered in November, but when I ordered in December I simply avoided Royal Mail and it was fine.

It’s a shame as I’m sure some businesses rely on Royal Mail, but I couldn’t get to the shops and didn’t want to chance everything arriving late.
