Anyone still waiting for Xmas deliveries?

Still missing one from Debenhams and one from Asos both via Evri! Both ordered well before Christmas and I've had Evri parcels since.
I imagine they are stuck at the bottom of a pile somewhere.
I don't really want to cancel, but how long do I wait?

Laptop bag that has been “delayed” with Evri since 30th November.

probably in someone else’s house or a ditch by now.

Starlitexpress · 01/01/2023 17:55

Yep, stuff from Etsy posted 2nd week of December. Mind you, only had 2 Christmas cards this year so think the local post office is sitting on a mountain of disappointment....

TheGirlWhoTamedTheDragon · 01/01/2023 17:57

Yes, three items ordered in early Dec and sent via Royal Mail are still absent.

TheGirlWhoTamedTheDragon · 01/01/2023 18:01

Will be avoiding using Royal Mail for anything in future if it's possible to select another option. And avoiding purchasing from anybody who has Royal Mail as their only delivery option.

TheHauntedPencilCase · 01/01/2023 18:10

Yes a couple but they've been refunded and I am not expecting them as they were Evri who don't deliver backlog as far as I know. The amazon delayed items did eventually go out for delivery but I'd already got a refund by then and had reordered. Luckily as amazon I could simply cancel the delivery on the day so no hassle. I've ordered nothing in the sales though as I don't want to add to Evris business unless I need to off to the shops tomorrow!

DelilahBucket · 01/01/2023 18:17

Had a parcel from M&S sat in the Evri depot since 30th November. They did refund on Friday though as it was over a month since ordering. Had it been Royal Mail and a small business I would have waited until the end of next week. I've had six deliveries from Evri in December, two of which were packages that were part of the M&S order sent at the same time. I'm pretty confident it isn't going to turn up now.

WeDoNotTalktoPennilynLott · 01/01/2023 18:22

Cryingbutstilltrying I contacted them on Facebook and they just said it's been delayed and was showing to be ready Christmas Day. Not sure how since they're closed but still heard nothing. I could pop in on Wednesday and see if it has evaded all tracking, thanks

clutterbugger · 01/01/2023 18:59

I'd ordered £200 worth of presents with next day delivery (for 16/12) by Evri and got a refund nearly a week ago. It was delivered yesterday.

Big company said Evri had told them it was lost and accepted liability so does anyone know what I do with the parcel now? I'm so confused I had thought it'd be on a car boot somewhere.

Good luck with everyone's parcels, apparently they're still coming!

Eustonia · 01/01/2023 19:01

Yes, Royal Mail. Xmas decorations. To add insult to injury that noted it as a failed delivery when in fact no attempt was made (at 7:20am one morning).

herdingcatss · 01/01/2023 19:02

Yep still waiting for a lakeland delivery (evri) and ecco verde (ups) - both delayed since start of december.

StrongTea · 01/01/2023 19:08

I sent a parcel via yodel on the 12th tracking not updated since 15th. Blooming annoyed as was a Christmas gift to elderly relative. They are supposedly manually checking for it.

RethinkingLife · 01/01/2023 19:19

2 badly delayed seasonal fruit orders.

If they arrive at all, they'll be badly spoiled.

Greyarea12 · 01/01/2023 20:07

Yes from evri. They received it December 13th. Contacted them the week leading up to Christmas and they say after a 'thorough' search they can't find it and therefore it is lost. Hmm.. how exactly is it lost.. lost where 🤔

I'd keep them.

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 01/01/2023 20:45

I wonder what happens to all the lost parcels

SirGawain · 01/01/2023 22:04

fancyacuppatea · 01/01/2023 16:36

That happened to me last year, so not necessarily just a delivery/RM problem.
They refused to replace it too.

Who delivers the Radio Times. I get mine from TESCO.

FlamingJingleBells · 01/01/2023 22:06

Click and collect Boots parcel, no sign of it anywhere in the system.

Elphame · 01/01/2023 22:09

Yes. A box of frozen dog food due on 22nd Dec.

I hope it isn’t delivered now as it will be rotting.

stargirl1701 · 01/01/2023 22:11

Yup! A Pony Club jacket for DD1 and a music stand for DD2.

Dachshund40 · 01/01/2023 22:15

Some nice underwear from playful promises, evri said parcel delayed 23rd December no updates since

Gymmum82 · 01/01/2023 22:41

Xmas present for my dad dispatched on 20th November via Royal Mail arrived yesterday.
another present via dpd sent on the same day still ‘unexpectedly delayed’ im not sure how they think it’s still unexpected because after a month of receiving the same message every day I’m definitely expecting it to never arrive

ceeveebee · 01/01/2023 22:50

ThatshallotBaby · 01/01/2023 15:57

Yes me
An Airup bottle via Evri
Same as you, not sure what to do.

Have you contacted Airup? I’d ordered some pods from them which didn’t turn up and when I contacted them they immediately dispatched a replacement which came a couple of days later.

Keep it as long as the sender did not lose out! Hopefully Evri have had to pay them for the seriously delayed items....

Yes, some second hand Playmobil, dropped at an Evri collection point on 1st December and apparently, still there. Don't think I'll be seeing that somehow!
